I think speed drifting is a actual type of drifting. Dont says its not just because hardly anyone speed drifts on forza. The people that think speed drifting is not an actual type of drifting stick to what your style of drift and leave the speed drifters alone. Speed drifting is an actual type of drifting and if you dont think so then dont tell people not to drift the style they like.
So the point of this post is to try and antagonise anyone that doesn’t think the same as you ?

i dont speed drift but my friend does im a style drifter
My drift cars are usually fast so you might say it’s speed drifting. I don’t run toe and the car is tuned for max grip while drifting. You kind of want a fast car for tandem comps but that also has great maneuverability. In drift point lobbies I think it’s fun to pass cars while drifting also while not touching them. You can still get a lot of points while having a fast car. I got the long beach achievement with a speed drift car.

Speed is a core component of drifting. Someone pulling the same angle, hitting the same line, doing twice the speed that you are is WAY more entertaining to watch. There is so such thing as “speed” and “style” drifting. Either you’re a slower driver or a faster driver, and that’s your driving style. It’s not a “type”. Drifting is drifting, and speed is a part of that. Why do you think major drift series use speed traps to help judge for qualifying?

This thread has to just be a troll/flame starter because I’ve never herd of there being two types of actual drifting ever in my life and the fact that the thread asks a question then the op goes on to answer the question him/herself and then tells others basically if you don’t like it then get lost just leads me to believe that. Weather you’re a fast driver or slow driver drifting is drifting just like any other form of racing.
Aero is right and he is not trolling. It’s either you fast or slow. You can give a person the fastest car and still be slow. The driver makes the difference man. In FD speed is taken out of judging this year.
@Two Flame.As for their is none that is speed drifting. You just haven’t got in with the big boys. Funny part is that some try to gap and others are just naturally fast.
