Is there a way to remove your own shared liveries from the public? I have painted several revisions of the same livery, and I am just cluttering up the storefront with very similar paint jobs. I have unshared them, but they are still available for download.
Apologies for the mess, and sorry if this has been addressed already. Searched for it and couldn’t find it. Thanks in advance!
No Not permanent. Just go into your designs and as you go through you can select and unshare to your hearts content!
Anything you remove and reshare will start again at 0 downloads though.
Once they have been unshared they sholud be unavailable for download unless there ones youve accidently saved over then they’re not in your paints anymore. If this is the case i know on FM5 you could download them and then unshare them but never tried it on horizon.
Interestingly I’ve just checked this out and if someone whats to check if I’m seeing thing right I’d appreciate it too.
Audi RS6 Avant, my Jon Olsson livery. (search ‘Gumball’ and it’ll come up.
I accidently saved over the original (with 1800 downloads in a week), for one with red alloys and a grey carbon version. Because I’d saved over it, download count had reset.
I unshared, and re-saved x2 new different versions Standard and Carbon.
Just searched for Gumball in the A6 Avant and all of the designs show!!
Just checked Mclaren P1 Galag, and again I’m showing versions I thought I’d deleted. Well they are from my collection anyway.
Only from going to the online version and unsharing it IS the definative way to remove a paint.
It was sooo much easier in F3, F4 and Horizon lol
I just wanna know download counts grrrrrrrr
Thanks for the help. I had to go and search for my own designs, download them all, and then unshare all of them except the “final” version. As someone mentioned, deleting or overwriting a file does not update or erase the original shared file. You have to unshare it separately.
