It happened to me in a non-Forza game about an hour ago as well. 
Same here. It’ll get fixed. What matters more is “what happened?”
Its xbox live and affecting a lot of gamed…not just forza

Just got the same message right now. Xbox status says the only problem should be with purchasing content though. Weird. Par for the course where Microsoft is concerned though.
Social and gaming were issue area earlier today, and while it currently shows as fine, I seriously doubt it is. Xbox live has been off it’s rocker for a couple weeks now.

I am also getting a cloud data sync error. It will just stay at 0 and never move. I am on pc/windows 10 latest update. The game has failed to sync for about a week now.
