Pardon me for this question not being related to Forza, but that’s why I chose “Miscellaneous” and "Off-Topic"to mean something else instead - a series called Pokemon that I am a huge personal fan of. I’m just a bit curious if…someone on this site may be a real fan in that series as I am. If there is, then… Fancy a bit of chat on it?
And the extra reason why I mention about Pokemon here in the forums’ Misc category is that, unfortunately for me, other communities and forums elsewhere did not work well. “Pokecharms”, for instance - even a place like that being all about Pokemon, it just flamed me already for no reason, even after I joined that site and simply posted a few “innocent” threads of mine, that’s just only me welcoming myself and sharing my passion in the series overall. No one responded, except a nasty admin there did (not gonna say his name). He was a horrible one, telling me off for so many things and not letting me have what I like. I really haven’t done anything wrong on that site Pokecharms, only made a civil intro of me and voicing out my taste in PKMN as kindly as possible. But of course, I know not everyone will take things the right way, so… What can I say? I didn’t deserve any of that insult. I just wanted to seek out conversations and new friendships on Pokemon, that’s all.
Yep, Pokecharms already became a disappointment to me, and so I’ve left it permanently. With another forum site like this, even though not about Pokemon I know, I’m just wondering if even at least one person somewhere in particular would know much about the series as I do, and for me to make a new friend with. Also if you do respond… Just be careful what you say; I am delicate in my feelings. A long story why.
Sorry to say but I think you won´t have luck here with your request. Most people here collect cars instead of Pokemon. I would suggest to try out Reddit. You often can find people with similar interests. Good luck. Hope you will find what you looking for.
Yes, I know, this site is for cars which I already stated. But as I also said, even a Pokemon community like Pokecharms which I tried finding people with similar interest there, that didn’t work for me, either.
…And why Reddit? I already tried that place before but, it pains me to say, it’s full of rude people there who lash out one another, even to innocent fellas like me. Like that one bad time I had where I joined a group there that’s all about Star Fox and Krystal stuff…but suddenly, one person named iWarz sent me a chat request message asking me, “Why are you pairing yourself with Krystal?” He asked that because I shared a custom picture of mine that had me and Krystal together which I really liked, but when I kindly answered his question, “I just like Krystal and I enjoy her very much as a fan,” he didn’t take my interest the right way and instead uttered, “You shouldn’t do things like this, it isn’t right. Respect others’ views better, not yours.” So that’s the example of an insult I received on Reddit long time ago in Xmas 2021 that I never even asked for. It was not my fault at all, it’s the way Reddit was for its bad people involved, forcing me to give up on it very soon. It’s not my right kind, TBH.
But what next - Bulbapedia? If I were to join another Pokemon community like that… I doubt things would improve for me. =/
Hey there also welcome to the Forza Forums. I also love the Pokemon franchise. Played it alot growing up and watched all the anime up to Ultra Sun Ultra Moon. Played through all the games too since yellow to Sword and Shield. Hadnt finished Scarlett and Violet yet. Been far to busy sadly.
Actually been painting some Pokemon and putting them on cars fairly recent within Forza funny enough.

^^ My favourite Gen and Pokemon? That’s a good question! I can’t really say what is my best favourite, I just like many of the Gens and Pokemon in different ways. But I like Suicune, for example. It’s very beautiful and majestic.
Entei is probably my favorite of the dog trio but Suicune is quite up there. But overall favorite pokemon is prob Absol or Lugia. Gen 2 is probably my favorite. I remember playing the heck outta Pokemon Gold and Silver
Absol and Lugia, yes, I really love 'em, too! ^^ Gold and Silver were indeed the best entries in the core series. Game Boy days were golden! I remember playing on my teal GBC.
What I also like about Pokemon (and I don’t wish to mean any offence, BTW, as it’s just my viewing ) is picturing/seeing myself in its universe for interaction with other Pokemon and even the anime humans (especially Champion Cynthia, she’s very special to me ). It’s a good thing I have several custom commission pics of me and Pokemon together so far - they can mostly be found in my DeviantArt account gallery. Or, is it OK I have them shown here? Sorry to ask…
Oh yeah, and while I was playing Forza Horizon 5 I discovered four nice Pokemon liveries for cars. (Wait, did I already mention this in one of the other posts? ) I haven’t screenshotted third and fourth ones yet, but I do have the first two right here, with Pikachu and Feraligatr!
I have plenty of favourite (and I spell “favourite” with “u” as I’m a Brit, no offence) Pokemon in the series, like Charizard, Lapras, Eevee and cousins, Dragonite, Meganium, Ampharos, Suicune, Lugia, Manectric, Latias and Latios, Piplup, Skuntank, Victini, Snivy, Samurott, Virizion, Reshiram, Kyurem, Delphox, and Xerneas. ^^ They’re all really good.
