Yep, Season bonus is broken. Spring didn’t work and summer too. Well, I won’t do the weekly challenges anymore, they’re too grindy. I rather do some Forzathons, much quicker. So, I don’t care anymore.
I’ve apparently managed to win the current Autumn trial prize by losing said trial. Team got destroyed 0:3, and I didn’t even get a first place finish due to someone else spawning an AI with much higher PI than mine. But yet, somehow, I still got the reward despite meeting none of the criteria beyond the AI setting.
Not sure if this was turned on as some emergency measure or is related to the actual bug that’s been causing this for some time now.

I wanted to test this, so I jumped into the Autumn Trial with a rental and no particular concern about whether I won or lost. Despite my own unspectacular performance, though, the team pulled down a 2-1 win… and I got the reward. The old screen with the three light-up stars (or rather, the star that DOESN’T light up) is entirely gone. From the looks of it, they have indeed thrown a switch somewhere as an emergency measure, so that right now you get the reward simply for playing in the Trial, win or lose. Not ideal, but hey, at least we can actually GET this ‘Haunted House’ horn. If only they had done this a little sooner… like, maybe during Summer. =_=

Btw. they hotfixed this just to REWARD for completion of the trial. But the green outfit is gone for the future, i think they will not reward it retrospectively?
It’s available now - complete the Mud & Guts Seasonal this week to get it. There’s also the alien suit in another seasonal, and the Clown mask and Pumpkin hat are in the #Forzathon store. So it’s a good week to score some uniques from seasonals.
