Trying to stream fh4 but can’t because the game will not launch while xsplit is running. Xsplit is the streaming software I use when I stream. While xsplit is open and I go to launch fh4, i get the splash screen and then a few seconds later the game crashes. But when I close xsplit the game launches wonderfully. So, I figure “well, if the game launches without xsplit running. I’ll launch the game and then launch xsplit.”. Nope, that doesn’t work, the game just crashes after xsplit is opened. This sucks and I can’t figure out why. Help me pleeeeease!
If the Game are Start in 1st When i start a Stream With OBS or simply if i launch XSPLIT The game close instant like a crash but without error . If apps ( XSPLIT ) or Stream ( OBS ) are start FH4 close instant .
I check W10 Update,n Game Mode OFF or ON : NVIDIA update, Stream With CPU or GPU
It’s Crazy and my OS are a fresh installe just 2Week…
yeah my game runs fine and very awesome on ultra graphics… my problem is the same as these guys, i cant get xsplit to cooperate with Forza 4… I can launch the game and play but whether i launch xsplit before or after the game is up, Forza closes out and doesnt want to start up until i close xsplit again. i tried doing the streamer mode enabled option but that didnt seem to fix it, so if anyone has the option to figure this out, much appreciated to help
Have tried with multiple different streaming applications so this is certainly either a FH4 issue, or Windows have changed something in the last update.
Streamer mode only turns off things like the radio ect so you don’t get any copyright claims.
I know the awnser. Try starting up your game first, then go to Graphics and turn full screen off. Back out to your desktop and start Xsplit. Now the game wont crash anymore. Simply turn full-screen back on when your back in the game
Unable Game Source in settings and record your screen via Screen Captue desktopthe follow these steps: Try starting up your game first, then go to Graphics and turn full screen off. Back out to your desktop and start Xsplit. Now the game wont crash anymore. Simply turn full-screen back on when your back in the game
It isn’t because the game will not capture. The issue is the game crashes the second capturing software is launched or is running while trying to play fh4. The game runs amazing but the second I launch Xsplit the game instantly crashes and will not launch until I close out of the software completely.
you should never use display capture there is a reason why people never use it
anything shown on screen will be seen on stream
if you still brave enought then heres a few suggestions
turn off:
Email Notifications
xbox msgs / invites
Steam msgs / invites
Battlenet msgs / invites
windows notifications etc anything else that you may have showing something on screen
recommand not streaming the game until they fix this issue
so please fix the game capture & window capture…
cause this is a big issue that should be the #1 priority to fix
also i still dont see this issue on the to do list so make sure it gets put there right now…
Ok so I did manage to find a quick work around, and tested it from my pc
The GeForce Streaming option if you have GeForce Experience installed on your computer… I was able to stream it for about an hour testing things, i’ll Find another way to have alerts and notifications for mine but the GeForce does have a recording option as well, I hope this will work for you guys
Same. “Display Capture” is not a viable solution. It’s not for capturing games, and gets choppy with high action/framerate (FH4 is a slideshow).
I don’t understand why this game is such an issue… I know Microsoft wants it’s first party titles to be integrated with the Game Bar, but they really can’t find a way to make it work as an overlay like every other service (Steam, UPlay, GOG, etc.) and give us real exclusive fullscreen. As it is now, FH4 is unstreamable.
