So I played/streamed a lot of the demo, and watched most of the 5 hour Mixer stream earlier this week all about Forza Horizon 4, so accrued a fair bit of Influence.
When I booted up the Ultimate Edition at midnight tonight, the game spammed me with a bunch of achievement unlocked toasts, for the likes of Qualify for Horizon Autumn/Winter/Spring, the Horizon Roster, and Reach Level 20, however, “Welcome to Britain - Arrive at the Horizon Festival” remains locked.
When I loaded into the game, all I had was a 2000 Nissan Silvia Spec-R, and 30,000 Credits.
Yet the World Map showed the events played from the demo as completed, I had no Prologue to play through, and I was in Autumn, with almost a week left of the season.
But when I quit the game and came back in, after completing all of the Daily and Weekly Challenges, the game told me that it was now Summer, with another 6+ days left to go, and changed up the Weekly and Daily Challenges once again.
It took several reloads of the game for all the DLC content and Forza Loyalty Rewards to finally register, meaning that of course, I can’t delete my save file and attempt to play the opening of the demo in the full game for the achievement, as I’ll lose all of the Loyalty Rewards etc.
Has any one else had this issue?
My concern is that I’ve basically missed the opening Prologue campaign on the account of the excessive amount of Influence earnt pre-release, causing the game to somehow skip ahead of itself.
