In-game message about community tune?

I don’t remember seeing a message in the game about someone’s build before - have I just missed it?

I got the same. From a tuner I follow. Never seen a message like that before.

I don’t follow any tuners, not that I know, so it’s not that

There was one for the Mission R as well. Maybe a new thing they’re trying

It’s at least the third that I’ve noticed. I think there was one for the 1969 GTO and pro stock Camaro.

Yeah this week was the Audi so it’s at least the 2nd time they’ve done it though tbf I often don’t pay much attention to in-game messages

It’s a good build they’ve recommended for the Audi but that only goes so far, especially with adjustable suspension involved, default settings aren’t usually ideal but someone could easily straight up ruin that car if they went fiddling with everything without actually knowing what they’re doing.

Worth keeping it in mind for the Gauntlet SC in the final week of this series which is S1 Rally Monsters, since we’ve only got single cars for the following 3 Trials I’ll probably test all the options for that over the next 3 weeks including Rock’s tune.

I do like the idea from PG though overall, there are so many tunes out there that are such bad builds that it’s irrelevant how well tuned they are/aren’t when they’ve already failed at the most foundational aspect of a good tune, this at least gives people the option of getting that part right themselves.

I think it said to use the drift suspension so I imagine the default settings are significantly different from the shared tune. Also, often the transmission swaps default to ridiculously short gearing.

Iirc the share code for the original tune is listed so possibly they’re also trying to direct people to it, promote certain tuners, etc. Without knowing what tuners are worth trying, it can be really difficult to find something usable.

I think this was the first time I had to squint and lean closer to read an in game message. Didn’t know the font could get that small!
