I would really like to see a feature that lets players create custom car categories and tag cars accordingly, with the ability to filter by those tags.
Even a simple fixed set of categories would already help a lot, for example:
- Race
- Drift
- Drag
- Rally
- Off-road
The current tire-types are useful, but they do not fully solve the problem. Many drift builds, for example, do not use drift tires, so tire type alone is not a reliable indicator of what a car is actually tuned for. After playing for a while, it becomes easy to forget which cars are tuned for which purpose.
This can lead to annoying situations where you enter a seasonal event with an A-Class tuned car, only to realize during the race that it was actually tuned as a drift car.
I know there was a similar suggestion for FH5, but it did not seem to get much attention. I still think this would be a very useful quality-of-life feature.
