Illinois State Police = only American-made cars?

Just saw on the news that Illinois State Police may boycott Chevy. Even though the Caprice and Impala parts are made in America, they are assembled in Australia. Now, Australia is talking about boycotting Illinois (which is the 4th-largest exporting state in America) products, like John Deere and Caterpillar. So what are they going to do, go with Ford which makes parts in Mexico???

Or they can go with the Mitsubishi cars since there is a plant in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. LOL

There is a cop that lives near me who brings his 2014 Caprice unmarked Cruiser every day, not sure what he does, but it’s all black and doesn’t even have the official plate on it but has all the lights and stuff. And the Caprice isn’t available to the general public, but if this is true, makes me wonder what that cop, and the local police department will do with it. Personally I dislike Chevy anyway so it’ll be good to see more Ford Police Interceptors around here. IL has always been more Ford heavy with their cop cars anyway from what I’ve seen. Either way, they won’t have to worry for long about Aussie stuff since they’re killing themselves out of the Automotive business.
