In an effort to make some room in my garage since I hit the 550 car cap, I put some cars up in the auction house. I chose cheaper cars that I don’t use much and can be easily replaced later once the garage cap is upped. Unfortunately I accidentally put up my 2005 E46 M3 that I got from the Drift Club and it was promptly snatched up by someone. Since this was an achievement car, I can’t get one back. what do I do now? Any ideas?
Cry … sorry but there is nothing much to do here except looking daily and for hours launching search again and again for that car until getting it. Other solution, create a new profile, do the game until achievement and sell yourself the car, better be quick and do it at work time having two xbox running. Last resort, wait for it to come back on some forzathon

Send a support ticket to the devs on their shiny new ticket system with some ideas on how they could improve the game to avoid this situation in the future by, for example, unlocking this car in a special store where you can buy replacements for one-off cars if lost.
Realistically though, as has been mentioned your only option is to watch the AH and hope someone sells one with a not-ridiculous buyout and you can get it before someone else does.
Its too easy to sell the wrong car when the garage shows incorrect pictures of the cars almost every time.
This really sucks.
Maybe due to this they may gift you a replacement if you ask as it is possibly their fault.

Never ever had this issue in fh4
Had it in fm7 but correct car has always shown before being to auction it and press the next 2 “are you sure you want to sell” screens
FWIW, assuming you’re an Xbox user, you can fix this problem by getting a USB3 enclosure and SSD, and moving FH4 to it. It makes the game work an awful lot better. I know you shouldn’t have to do this to get the game running nicely, but it’s there as a possible course of action.
Are they ever gonna fix that bug where the garage ALWAYS shows the wrong car icons? There’s a new patch coming out, but I didn’t see that mentioned. Ridiculous!
[Mod Edit - Trolling removed - D] I can’t count the number of times I’ve been stuck in the default car waiting for the images to display right or how many times I pucked the wrong car.
They can’t even get the proper tires to display in different seasons. They say rally and snow tires are the same, but I have my doubts.
I have a Bugatti Chiron that was built, tuned and tested for winter driving. The option at the time of creation was snow tires, built during winter, only option I had.
Winter dirt race comes up, I jump into the Chiron only to discover it shows rally tires and does not handle the way I built it. This happens with several cars I built and tuned in the winter, for the winter.
Now, I just stick rally tires on everything and hope for the best. Once in awhile, I get lucky and they show up and drive like snow tires. I also started working on Warthogs for both A and S1 single adventure combat, still need a good combat S2 car.
Can you name some cars where they show the wrong icon…i have never seen and want to see if it affects me also

Edit and game show also some designs in wrong color, like that alfa is red in picture even tho that car is black, also that acura rsx have different color.
That’s just for a few seconds while the game “catches up”. Patience is a virtue they say.
I wouldnt mind that mutch if that would be few seconds but it sometimes over 30 seconds that is mutch more than few seconds, im sure i have allready wait for hours totally to see right image.

That was driving me crazy also , the only fix was investing in a SSD. After hooking that up everything runs really smooth, garage loads up almost immediately. Thanks to whoever mentioned it first on this forum.
I’ve used a SSD for a while and while loading times are super quick, this issue still happens to me. It didn’t occur when the game first came out, only recently over the past couple months.
Never had that issue on xbox or pc in fh4…ever ..not even when going through the garage quickly either

It’s all cars. Nothing bad happened to me because of it, but I see the issue too.
Essentially when you’re cycling through your garage, the pictures won’t change as you tab through all the companies. It then takes like 5-10 seconds for all the new pictures to render.
So if you’re at the start and seeing Aston Martin’s and Acuras etc…right bumper until you’re at maclarens and Mercedes…but all the pictures are still showing Aston Martins and Acuras for few to a dozen seconds until everything visually catches up.

I did this with an R34 Skyline. Thought it was readily buyable in the showcase, sold it for 50k. Went to check price and it wasn’t there. Bad feeling, luckily I snatched one up on the AH for 35k so I made 15k haha
You can also get one through winning an official photo or livery contest. Just make sure you pick the 2005 E46 M3 as your car of choice if you win.
