I was curious if anyone pre-installed Forza Horizon 2 like I did last week to only find out that you have to re-install the entire game AGAIN today?
No, I decided to just play at 12:01 EDT instead. Why would you reinstall?
I didn’t do it because I wanted to. I clicked on the game this morning to play since I pre-installed and it started to re-install the game again.
I don’t want to accuse you, but when you buy the game it goes to the ‘queue’ where you have to manually install it. Are you sure you just didn’t install it then?
100% positive I installed it. I even went to it yesterday and it didn’t have the install option. It said, “Play on 9/30/2014”
I was just curious if someone else ran into the same issue. I have all of my games pre-installed so I know what I’m doing. I watched this game pre-install for half a day haha
Lots of people seem to have this problem. We can be certain it was installed properly. Somebody messed up on their side.
When I pre-ordered the game did not start installing immediately. I had to coax it along a bit after the fact (by starting the installations from the queue in My Games & Apps.
If you just purchased it and never checked your installation queue until today - it’s probably your first installation - not a re-installation.
I downloaded FH2 Sunday night (standard day 1). Woke up at 6:30 this morning & started playing the game. No issues.
It’s a filler for me till Nov 18th. Then no more Forza for me.

It happened to me too. I instaled everything about a week ago, the first day that the download was available. And at 00:01 when i went to play the game today, it just started downloading everything again.
Not Working for me.
what I have to do?re-download all?
i downloaded it all last week as a pre order it took me about 35 hours ( i live in the country and download around 1 gig an hour) so i go to play it this am and it says installing, come back an hour later and it says 1% 
its gonna be a long time… but then i click on manage game and it says 35 or so gigs of content is there for it. maybe its a day 1 patch for the early downloaders?
