Lots of people use full-range video (0-255), especially on PC. The image suggests making the top logo invisible. As far as I’m aware, this isn’t possible on a full-range signal. There is no blacker-than-black. You’d end up with a horribly dark image if you tried.
I wouldn’t bother with an in-game calibration image.
