Okay so first off let me say that I do not play online yet. All of my racing will be done via Career Mode.
I originally tried to purchase a tune from the Market Place. Then either use the tune in Career Mode or just transfer each individual setting into Career Mode. That being said, apparently my Save File is corrupt and I can’t purchase a tune…for anything. So here is what I am using and what I would like a tune for.
S700 Class Lotus 2 Eleven for all around great grip.
I am currently in an airport right now so I can’t include any additional information about my setup. I do use the extremely cheapo Microsoft 360 Wireless Racing Wheel. I don’t use any assists. I run a Manual WITHOUT the clutch…but thats only until I get a better controller setup.
Yes I know this is a “Leaderboard” car and can be frowned upon from many diehard purist. But like I said, I’m just doing Career Mode for fun and I don’t really care about the leader boards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!
You can FR me if you want, but be warned that I don’t get to play a whole lot since I have a 3 month old son at home.
Hello, Nic, I too am a MS wheel user and am currently using the Lotus 2-Eleven in a racing series, but the car build is only a S class PI 625.
The car is fun to drive and handles pretty good on all tracks.
I’ve downloaded S Class PI700 tunes from the Storefront and have not had a problem loading them on my car.
I use Manual with clutch shifting and it is a little faster on the road tracks.
I do better on the Ovals though with the MS wheel
I use ABS Brakes and Normal Steering with Traction Control on most RWD cars.
There is a good tune on the Storefront, for the Bernese Alps Club reverse S Class PI 700, by gamer tag “NOX JULISTIN”
You should try to download it and try it.
Also, watch his replay with his car. He is currently #5 on the S Class Leaderboard for Bernese Alps Club Reverse.
Well I can’t even purchase a tune in the first place. I think the reason why it says I have a “corrupt save file” is because my save file is on an external flash drive that has been formatted to work on the 360. So what I might do is start another account with xbox live and purchase the tune that way. Then just transfer either the file of the information to my current and main live account. I will definitely check the tune out sometime soon. Working 9-5 and having a 3 month old son makes for very little free alone time haha.
