I was making a Monster Energy design for the BMW M3 2005, it has over 1000 layers and when going to save it something very weird happened. The game won’t register any inputs from my controller. I fully charged it after and no input was being registered on the save design screen. So I decided to plugin my Thrustmaster TMX into my Xbox to see if any input was being registered so I could save my valuable design. But still no input was being registered. The game is not frozen as it keeps highlighting a group layer on the side of my car and I can also hear music play in the background, I can however go to the home screen and quit the game. But if I quit the game I will lose hours of work I put into making this 1000+ Monster Energy design. Please help. Has this ever happened to anyone else?
You can try waiting it out… Or if you close the game you will most likely lose progress from last save. lt has happened to me and l lost progress/work back unto my previous save.
lf waiting doesn’t work out l guess what you can take out from this is save early and often. (Always when working with data.)
Hey, I waited for 5 hours and nothing still happened. I restarted the game and it turned out to save my monster

Sounds like good luck. l’m happy to hear that. Maybe it saved it locally but the server sync didn’t work. l would maybe go save the design one more time now to make sure it completely saved correctly.
I can confirm it saved correctly and the design was saved onto my car and about 20 people downloaded it within the first hour of going up.
Pressing the xbox button on the control to the home dashboard & pressing start button & quiting the game to reboot it again works if you have saved your design or you will need to start it again. If all else fails maybe try power cycling your console by holding the power button on console in for 10 seconds to remove any errors that maybe causing the issue.
