How tunable are the street cars in Forza 5?

Just curious. Being able to race more cars in the game would be great. I’m still playing Forza 4 and wish there were race kits for all street cars so you can progress along with your favorite
ride up to R2.

It is roughly equivalent when compared to Forza 4, in terms of available upgrades and tuning.

As he posted. Also, the restructured class system rates any car PI400 or less as D now. The classes go up from there: C, B, A, S, R, P, & X. The old “R-with-a-number” is gone.

I’m not seeing any arguments here just observations and opinions.

Not sure what you are looking for but yes a lot of cars are very competitive in lobbies. If you race in lobbies most cars can take first with the right driver. If you race leaderboards just like every other game there are some better cars than others for that.

Sorry, I didn’t know you were looking for arguments. I thought you were just asking a question…

in r class you can tune a and s class cars to outrun the r class race cars. my 08 dodge viper can out run my viper. on lemans my saleene outruns about anything. and when i lose its to a hennesy not a race car.

Here’s how it should be if you’re using a street cars The against a purpose built race car at the same level. The street car should always place behind the race car.

Well, that’s rather subjective. Vehicle performance is only half the equation. The driver’s ability to put that performance to use determines where the car finishes, when compared to others.

Often times in my opinion the race car is the better driving car, but some heavily upgraded street cars will have very high acceleration and top speed attributes that may give you the advantage in some situations.

I can see a street car beating a race car at Lemans where low downforce tunes are faster. GT race cars produce way more downforce which means more drag and lower top speeds. A race car is only faster through the turns so I can see a street car beating a race car there.

…And take the C6R Vette. It’s got less HP than the ZR1 and more downforce. Its after around most racetracks but it’s not going to have the same top speed as the ZR1.

Frankly for lobbies I think that up to a certain point street cars can be just as good. In lower class lobbies, D-A you will find exclusively street cars.

I have a lot of silly street cars that beat most race cars in lobbys. I enjoy going in A class in a beetle or S class in a NSX and kicking butt
