I’ve turned it off on the HUD and I never use it.
I’ve noticed I dont get any bonus in my scoring when I dont use it and always wondered if I should be.
Tonight I was looking through my career titles/achievements and there is a title still locked that says “earn a gold medal in 25 career circuit races without using rewind.” I know that I’ve done this in that I never use rewind and have well more than 25 golds without using it in career (I have gold in almost everything except a handful of bonus races).
This only leads me to believe there must be a place to turn it off (which I assume would give me extra credit bonus as well) I just cant find it anywhere.
Can someone lead me to where it is to do this? Or am I completely mistaken here?

So how do you complete that title I mentioned above? Like I said, I’ve never used it once and have a lot of career golds but it still shows locked.
Also, when it shows your winnings and it shows rewind 0%, does it take money away in that spot if you use it in a race?
I don’t know why your achievement hasn’t posted. I’m just responding to the question in your thread title - there is no on/off for the rewind feature. There is no bonus for not using it; there is only a deduction calculated by a percentage that is taken from your winnings if you do use it.
Gotcha. I figured that was how it was working, but then seeing the achievement still showing locked, I thought I must have missed something.

Some achievements are notorious for not popping. The rewind one is one of those. I’ve raced thousands of times, never use rewind (Sorry, Worm) and it has never popped for me. Same for the achievement where you have to race X number of races on Pro. That one never popped for me, either.

All achievements work fine. Some badges don’t work fine.
So is that one an achievement or a badge? Are only the ones listed as achievements technically achievements?
The one you are referencing is a badge, not an achievement.
