How to make xxx layers a one layer

Hi.

I am doing first steps in paint, so far so good, however I have this problem. I have an art consisting of around 800 layers. I can not combine it with anoter around same size. When I try to paste one art into another game says: “Not enough layers to paste, add, or tag” Any help would be awesome.

Yes, and 1000 limit for rear/front.

Is there a way to merge layers? My arts have over 1800 layers actually.

No, only grouping

Id be amazed if you need 1600 layers on the front or rear just as the panels are much smaller vs the sides/top.
If you’ve scaled it down to fit you will have to either rip layers out that aren’t highly visible, or if design is hidden behind lights, remove those bits to drop layer count.
