How to get Exclusive cars (not in the Autoshow)

Complete all the Star Card challenges, or look for it in the auction house.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it shows up in the daily Advent Calendar.

I am trying to find the Forza Edition Ford Capri without doing the star card stuff and I’m tearing my hair out trying to find it in the auction house.

Can someone please help me get it please. I am dying to find it.

Even harder than the POs. Good luck!

I got the Ford Capri FE at #Forzathon January 2019, playing since 2018, but my game was corrupted in December 2019. I asked the Forza Horizon Support team for help, but I didn’t get the gift from the car, they just ignore me my order, I lost everything I made playing the #Forzathon event series online besides the cars “they didn’t send me all the cars I had in the garage (except the dealership) and costumes unlocked while playing the #Forzathon series”, I only received a few rare gift and money cars that I owned in the game). Now I’m throwing it all over again to get the locked items in the game (cars, costumes and skins). At the very least, I should be given gifts from items played in the #Forzathon series (100% Completed), these items from the Forzathon series should already be unlocked as I have played and completed all Forzathon events.

Now I’m playing again against time to catch up to a year played, and I’m hoping the items will come back again in the new #Forzathon series.

PS: The support team has simply changed my access so that I can’t open new tickets in support. (That was unfortunate, the kind of support they gave me, I hope they never need their help again).

I don’t know how badly they treated you, but with regards to the Capri itself, it was only officially obtainable on three occasions: the week before Ultimate Edition release (for content creators and other VIPs), the first Festival Playlist in March 2019 and now by fully completing the Star Cards.

Whenever it got put in the Forzathon Shop, save for that very first week back in September, it was a mistake by the team, and readily fixed. That could be why they didn’t give you this specific car back, but again, if they treated you badly for asking, then they made a mistake.

They are rare, and even if you see one you will have to be fast on the buttons to buy it. The easiest way to get them is to create a vinyl for a car, I’ve had 5 of them.

Hello, I just started the game. Can I get the renault megane 18 still? Or my only hope now is the auction house (0 car offers right now)?

more or less no chance sadly until one appears in another series (probably a month or 2) or if a “legend” painter sells one for 20 million credits, its the reason why I want this locked system gone

This is such an awful and stupid system. Put the damn cars in the autoshow so I can just play and enjoy the game with them.

all the cars come to forzathon shop or play list one day or the other. If you are in a hurry to test one, the AH is the good place. Now that script buying has been made much more difficult, you have your chances to get one.

I do believe that all vehicles should be put in the Autoshow…in the final update to the game. Things come around again, and are available in the auction house, there are plenty of opportunities to get what you want.

Yes, definitely. I can’t believe how many cars are not in the Autoshow, even common cars. All cars you unlock (barn finds, racing events, etc) should “unlock” them to show up in the Autoshow, in case you want to purchase more. Disable auction house for them for a period of time if that bothers some.

They didn’t do for FH3… Don’t hold your breath.

Complete opposite of T10 who gave us even the FEs (and made auction useless but who cares, it sucks).

PG uses the cars to squeeze life out of the game but from what I see this is not what people want, I see AH channel on Discord spammed with “plz sell me alpine”, “i buy pista plz” even though some of these cars were easy to get. People want to have fun and, when these exclusives end up sucking in the meta, even fewer people get them.

Auction channel is even spammed with screenshots of people bragging they snipe 10s of these cars to flip them. It sucks, it’s unhealthy, it hinders most. Seasonals aren’t rewarding, they’re a grind. :frowning:

Then I win Trial to get a Pista with three major bugs (animation, paint, gauge cluster) and useless in the metagame. Is there any reward in that? LOL no! As Ferrari enthusiast I feel almost insulted by Supra not only stealing the spotlight but also having so much attention and care put into it, including the silly 1,600 bhp engine mods. Meanwhile we have Pista with toy wing and unable to fend off hypercars and racecars in S2.

I’m an even bigger BMW enthusiast and the M3 GTS lack of quality made me rage. Like, seriously? It might be just a game but the state the car is in made me sad enough to ignore it completely. I only keep it in my garage for completion.

FH4 is a juggernaut undermined by these decisions. They go for casuals with Eliminator but the ones still getting the cars are the hardcore and they’re given unpolished cars. It’s frustrating. Days and days of playtime spent in this game out of pure love, then I see it degraded like that. :frowning:

Sorry NightDriver7800, but those two sentences from your long post are the only 2 things I agree with.

Personally, I have had zero issues with the AH and how it is run. I find nothing wrong with buying and flipping cars. That is very much a part of the real car scene. It is not unhealthy.

I very much enjoy the seasonal events (well, except maybe what the Playground games have turned into. That use to be one of my most favorite of the weeklies). I find them very rewarding and definitely not a grind. Some of the events are more challenging than others, but I know for a fact that as a result of playing these weekly events, with different cars, in different scenarios, my skills have greatly improved over the past year and I am now competitive in the Trials. A year ago I was lucky to ever finish a race in the top 50%. If I found the weeklies to be a grind and not personally rewarding I wouldn’t do them. Quite the opposite. I very much look forward to Thursdays and the release of the new activities.

I do not consider the things you fault in the Pista to be major bugs. I am not a Ferrari nor a BMW fan but I don’t complain about how they are presented in the game because I know others do love them. There are more than enough cars that I love to drive in this game.

And Eliminator for Casuals?? Check out how much time some of the forum members who are hard core players are putting into Eliminator. You can easily tell from their enthusiastic posts how much they are enjoying it…

I definitely do not agree with your statement that the game is being degraded.

I know for a fact quite a few of us very much enjoy the time we spend playing this game. Perhaps there is another game out there that would better fit your needs?

Currently, there are other games, yes.

The AH is a joke. Even with the improvements. No way to check daily prices in real time. No ability to view perks on auctioned cars. Privileges to “creators”. Competition against PC with key macros. 10% share goes to auction house for no reason. In Discord you see “sell me”, “i buy” all the time. In other words: people want buy/sale of cars, not auction.

Concerning the Ferrari, the paint bug wasn’t minor. It got fixed, along with paddle movement, but it was easy to spot, just paint the car a custom color and it was there. Still, it passed Q&A.

M3 GTS is a mess, absolutely terrible. Inaccurate is an understatement. Steering wheel is wrong (no alcantara), no rollbar in stock form, and this car used to have sleeper parts that weren’t brought back. It wasn’t a reward, it was utter disappointment.

The point I’m trying to make is, if cars are exclusive, they’re supposed to feel special. Otherwise, just put them in the Autoshow. Most of these “exclusives” have copy/paste features. Ranger Raptor can be purchased at any time and has a better engine swap list than many exclusive cars…

Moving on, there may be people invested in the Eliminator, but it’s very few. Achievements don’t often lie, you have a handful of people with 50+ matches, but you do have almost 6% with at least one match. It features some strategy, but it’s luck-based and completely unlike any competitive iteration of Forza. Granted, Ranked doesn’t have many people either anymore, but hardcore play in this game is not just Ranked. The community actually managed to get Free Roam Rush removed from Ranked road racing only for it to return in the Eliminator… And it was never removed from dirt events!

With regards to the seasonals, the game offers other stuff for you to practice your skills on and many of them are repeated, certain categories appear too often, there’s an obsession with street racing which is the worst discipline, modern muscle cars on dirt tracks, track toys on the snow, I could go on and on. You really don’t need a flashy UI to feel the sense of accomplishment in beating decent AI, it’s enough to simply beat it, and consistently. Even putting on a fast lap in Rivals feels nice.

That’s not to mention the Trials/Games… I usually have an easy time with Trials but for every “me” there’s like three or four people who complain, and with reason, since you get plenty of idiots in co-op play.

Thanks for being respectful though and sorry for any misunderstanding, it was quickly written.

At this stage they really should at the very least they should be temporary exclusives for a few months at most as other games like the crew wildrun and Crash Nitro fueled do this with their season content

Its just feels like a system that encourages legend painters to do their thing, force players to do stuff they do not want like online and capitlizes heavily on the fear of missing out on players and what happens when it moves on to the next game and someone decides to pick it up how does one get these cars then, It bothers me that there isnt as much critique on this system out there as this live service approach is just unhealthy for long term enjoyment for these games

LOL, here is critique everywhere.

Ok, the World Really has gone Mad! I am agreeing with Scimmia Again!

ALL of the Post Release Cars should indeed be Added into the Autoshow, with their Prices adjusted to Reflect their Real Life Value (some go Up, some come down) but indeed, for a Massive Singular “Dump” of Vehicles into the Autoshow like that, it really should be Reserved, as it was in FM7, for when the Game goes End of Life. as I would actually rather try and unlock them for Free via SINGLE PLAYER Challenges first, and then just get the Ones that cannot be Unlocked in Single Player via the Autoshow after they are added there once the Game goes EOL.
