Fellow car enthousiast,
Okay, so this isn’t just a wishlist add-on.
This isn’t just some rant about T10 doing something wrong, but this injustice must be called out once and for all.
If there is such a thing as a car god than surely he looks on with despair as this keeps happening. I am referring
of course to the missing of certain car that in car-terms surely is like one of one of the seven wonders of the world.
Few cars ever captures the imagination quite like this car does, whether you are in to cars or not. This car always gets
the nod of approval, if it were a dog, it would be a golden retriever puppy. It is that likable. And as such I felt the need
to call special attention to this matter.
I am talking of course about the 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, as iconic as American apple pie, McDonalds or the eagle.
As if driving through San Fransisco with Steve McQueen behind the wheel wasn’t enough it reimagined the imagination
when It starred in the brilliant remake of Gone in Sixty Seconds as Eleanor. Which brings us to the next point that cemented
this car in car history for eternity: Caroll Shelby. When Shelby got it’s hands on it, he made the magnificent GT500. To most
the absolute best of all the Mustangs. But there is one 1967 Mustang Fastback that dwarfs all of these: a one-of-a-kind
1967 Shelby Mustang GT Super-Snake. Equipped with a 427CI GT40 MKII V8 it was intended to test Goodyear tires.
No other Mustang arguably made as big an impact as this version, from it’s more subtle details compared to the 1968 or 1969
version to the beauty of the sloping roofline to the impact in American popculture it just begs belief why such an iconic car
is not present in the any of the Forza games (apart from the Shelby GT500 KR with it’s ugly frontend).
Surely I am not the only one that not only thinks it’s high time this car should be included but that is should be an absolute
must. Pleas tell me I am not the only one…
