New to Forza and gaming in general but I was wondering why all of the cars I buy and race are already tuned and if there is a way to stop this from happening? I just want to race the cars as they would be stock without upgrades. The way this is right now is ruining the game for me.

Do single events and on race setup go to the 3rd tab and turn upgrades and tuning to off or not allowed. Unfortunately you cannot select a division or it will reset or override those actions so cars must be set to any. In other words if you want to race classic sport gt cars from the 90’s bone stock you will have to also filter the years and other settings to try to remove anything else that would fit that might get thrown into the class.

Ok thank You! I think I was running into that class reset issue. I would make the parameters and then set for example class “C” but it would automatically tune the cars for top of C class.
Also I am so glad that credits can be earned in free play races as i dont have very much interest in the series races. That was a good move by the developer.
this would be a great feature to have in the game where only showroom stock was allowed, as long as they are all in the same class.
