As a huge fan of the Forza Motorsport Series (since I’m really into real racing) I have to say Horizon has won me over with the last two versions as being a better game for playing and having a blast.
For Horizon 3 I celebrated by getting a complete Fanatec clubsport wheel setup with all the high-end stuff. And not to be outdone this year, I went and picked up an LG C8 65" OLED yesterday. Good thing my wife and I have separate finances or I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have a wife after that purchase, LOL. It’s replacing a very decent Vizio 60" 4K HDR set that goes to my brother. And I was amazed at how big of an image quality leap it was going to the OLED.
I’ve got the next couple of days setup for minimal work and house chores. Also stocked up on junk food and energy drinks. I suspect by Monday I’ll be a worn-out useless but happy racing dude. Wondering how the rest of you are going to celebrate this epic release.

I’m celebrating already after realising its tonight and not tomorrow night. Now I only have to open up at 9.am at work for an hour, then back home for a Forza Frenzy!
This will be my first ever Horizons game and only ever played Forza 3 on xbox years ago.
As this was in my home city I had to buy it
I guess I kind of celebrated by buying thrustmaster t3pa pro pedals which arrived yesterday and I also ordered a 6gb 1060 which should be arriving tomorrow morning… I’ll have to just stick with medium settings for the release tonight
My GameStop hasn’t even called yet, but I plan on heading out at midnight to pick it up, install it while watching some late night TV so the game is ready to play when I wake up tomorrow morning.
I don’t really celebrate, like outting banner up outside the house or splurging. I just play.
I work third shift and so, even though Thursday is my Saturday, I woke up at 2am this morning without an alarm. -_-
Luckily I powered hard through all my chores and am ready for a good nap, that should eat up some time and help me stay up late. Tomorrow will be better though
I’ve literally finished all my appointments today and cleared my schedule for tomorrow. I’m spending quality time with the fiancee tonight (since it doesn’t release until 10 or 11pm CST) and waking up extra early to play all day until my eyes are bloodshot (like I’m a kid again). I do it once every two years and I will enjoy every minute of it!
I’m celebrating by buying the Z4MC as my first car than taking it around the map a few times with only race suspension as my only upgrade (gotta have that low life) I just hope it doesn’t take to long to get the option to buy that car. After that its gonna be a grind to get to the Forzathon events, with a few races in between.
Unfortunately and luckily I just had Surgery on my neck early this month, and am not allowed to leave my house for another month or so… Double edged sword really.
