Hot Wheels Legends Car Pack

If I pay the 9 something for the pack, I have them to use in my garage wihtout paying anything further correct?.. why do the individual ones have 100k prices? Am I missing something here?

Like with any other DLC car, you have to own the DLC first, then you can bid/buy/sell them on auction house, or rather grab them from autoshow.

I puchased this carpack but i can not find them in my cars ?

You do not get them in your garage automatically. You have to ‘purchase’ them from the AutoShow for 0 credits. After that each additional copy of each car will be the full credit price.

Purchase them from the Autoshow for FREE at first then pay for all the duplicates that you want!

I understand the marketing behind the latest DLC Car Pack but the fact that you can not purchase the cars individually …sucks…what if I only wanted one or two of the cars?!?..I am stuck with cars I did not want in the first place that I did not want to drive and these slick jokers know with the Promo Photo and Car Mastery additions to the game…you need this cars…at least temporarily to be 100 percent complete…and without the cool orange track expansion from Horizon 3…it seems like a money grab because those cars belong on the orange track with the loops and big jumps!

I wish I hadn’t missed out on Forza Horizon 3 and its Hot Wheels expansion DLC, it looks so awesome.

I’m crossing my fingers and making this post in hopes that Microsoft / Playground Games / Turn 10 will listen to fans and have another similar Hot Wheels expansion for Forza Horizon 5.

Anyone that reads these endless posts should get the HW pack for free.

Pounding sand.

I reiterate: Entitled Edition for $45 more over the UE.

It’s 10 bucks for 6 mediocre cars…

Even then, PG ripped us off when they included the “Welcome Pack” in the Car Pass, but not this one. “Welcome Pack” is just the cars we already have in the game, with new physics. This pack is all-new.
The paid DLC for FH4 has been mostly a scam and the good addon cars are all locked behind seasonal progress…

The game’s fanbase deserves the neglect, though. It’s either fanboys or children. I even suspect some of you could be alts of PG employees… Only explanation for such staunch support for their (and Microsoft’s) horrible handling of this game.

“Mediocre” is spot-on. I also agree that the neglect is largely deserved, however, I’d replace the mischaracterizations “fanbase,” “fanboys,” and “children” with the more apt “forum,” “malcontents,” and “heathens,” respectively. The absense of any dev forum engagement is hardly surprising, though; I mean, even rental port-a-potty’s at Lollapalooza are defecated on less generally treated better.

It’s unfortunate that this bitter pill you’re forever grinding on has jaded your vision to the point where you are unable (or unwilling) to distinguish mischaracterized dev/corporate support (“S-T-A-U-N-C-H” or otherwise) from sober thinking, reasonable approaches and practical applications. Like everyone else, I have a litany of game gripes nearly a mile long. I could choose to dwell on and obsess over the myriad of issues I have no control over and cannot influence. I could pine away for my ideal version, double-down on generating endless semi-comparisons to products a decade old, launch newer, saltier litigations of the same old hat to the same echo-jury, or just itemize all my grievances for the next passer-by.

Instead, I choose to search this five-alarm fire for the kernals of things (or remnants thereof) that I do like, or that I don’t mind tolerating at a minimum. Things I do not like or find too broken or compromised to warrent enjoyment for time spent, those I don’t do. I hold on to the elements I am passionate about, and try my damndest not to ruin anyone else’s experience. I don’t know what your world is like right now, perhaps it’s changed a lot like mine has, for better or worse. I can tell you mine is most definitely worse, in fact, I find it rather bleak at the moment. This stupid wreck of a game is the only light I have, just a bit of ‘good enough’ in a dank, dark miserable pit. Such lavish living (ha.) tends to forge a new perspective or two, leaving priorities, values, and acceptable minimums altered. So the next time you’re feeling casually dismissive and start getting all Grey Gardens with your characterizations, consider there may very well be other explanations in play/at work that you’re just too jaded to see in real time.

I still hope that you’ll get re-inspired again, find that spark that used to fuel those cerebral posts you used to make, if not here then with something else.

Well, for now, what I consider good is that there seems to be no new pay to win car is this pack.

From what I could see, these cars look good but I won’t buy because I don’t like what was done of my money recently.

The fact that forum is mostly used by people coming there to discuss issues/protest/ask for fixes etc is just common sense to me, what other place to discuss those points ?

There is something more on the forum, many people not only protest or are negative, they propose solutions, work arounds, ideas to improve. The negative outcome and raging is mostly related to Game team not listening. I consider that if they had payed attention to FH3 forum, discussed with players, they would have avoided the total disaster FH4 online was at release and fewer people raging on the forum.

I do understand that a car pack means sells while fixes means just players being satisfied but they should be careful, with crossplay going next level, well, some others are working hard at preparing something big.

I am an owner of Ultimate Edition and I thought that car pack will be free for me because “ultimate” means or should mean full, complete, with all DLC that ever released and will be released. But I was hyped for Hot Wheels Legends so I thought that maybe I, as UE owner, will get some discount. It didn’t happened, but because developers created an awesome game with hundreds of cars, route editor, one patch per month (with bug fixes, new cars, new seasonals) I decided to buy this DLC jnstantly to say “thank you” for many hours I spent in Horizon 4. But not only - when I was a kid I had more than hundred Hot Wheels Cars and I dreamed about drive them in real life - of course that will be just impossible, but racing wheel + FH4 + HW DLC give me awesome experience, I remember I even have some of in-game cars like Bone Shaker, Twin Mill or Chevy LUV. 10$ for 6 cars isn’t a best price, but included content is really good. I am just dissaponted that we have in here only cars, not racing tracks like FH3. I will pay another 10$ for another “island” like Fortune or LEGO Speed Champions. But I am a little concerned about future of DLC’s for Horizon 4.

Well, if this DLC wasn’t included in Ultimate Edition and developers seen that gamers still gonna pay for that, I am worried that every single future DLC only with cars will be payable. I bought Hot Wheels Legends because of my childhood and having fun driving fake cars (Quadra, Warthog, other HW vehicles), but if they start to release more packs like that I’ll probably won’t pay for it. It’s not fair for players who own UE and trusted that “Ultimate” means “Ultimate”

Can’t you still buy Forza Horizon 3 used on disc and get the ultimate edition that way…???

I think the expansion pass was sold separately for FH3. At a discount before a certain date if you had the ultimate edition. I seem to recall the usual anger as I believe the pass was made available for purchase the same day the game came out. Tried to check my order history but it’s just not loading. It loaded but FH3 is totally missing from my order history.

You bought a GT350 2 years ago. Used it. The ultimate Mustang.
Ford brings out GT500 after 2 years. The new ultimate Mustang.

Good luck swapping out.

All you eat ultimate buffet. Doesn’t mean they’ll feed you forever.

Business. Pay to play.

These cars are the epitome of what’s left of the FH4 community: people who take photos and/or fool around. All style, zero substance.

The Nash Metropolitan is what defines this pack, and Hot Wheels in general. It does look good and IMO deserved to win the Legends contest. But, with its bicycle tires, it’s hopeless. It appeals to “wheeeeeeee its got a super V8 and it spins around OMG!!!” kind of players.

There’s cars like the LUV which can be pretty fun. But it gets old after a while and there’s plenty of cars in the base game that are simply more fun. By base game I don’t mean the exclusives of course, but the cars that actually shipped with the game.

It’s still shady on their and the studios’ part.

Reminder that they added a DLC consisting of duplicates to the Ultimate Edition yet made this one separate. There’s no defense.

Need I also mention that the Car Pass itself was trash next to the exclusives they released months later?

Well, in that case, they shouldn’t name first Mustang “Ultimate”

There’s one, goodwill, or did you never experience that on a return in a shop, or during contract negotiations?

That’s your opinion, not a fact (or an argument in this case).

There is a defense actually, it’s that the WP was duplicates so why make UE pay for duplicates, however with the HW pack being all new cars, why not charge for new cars? Either buy it, or don’t. That simple.

The car pass wasn’t trash, I thoroughly enjoyed 4/5 of the cars. Basically paid $10 for 49 cars. Great deal. Even then, it doesn’t matter. They still released the exclusives for free using updates so what’s your point?

Must’ve not been here for FH3, or FH2, which also didn’t have everything (and in their cases, less) included in their Ultimate edition.
