I purchased the car pack and only two car are fully downloaded, the rest are stuck at various stages with the message "Installing content. You are free to continue playing while the installation completes. Ive turned off and on the machine, hard start, went into system preferences and uninstalled the car pack and tried to reinstall, ect. Still all but two cars are stuck in mid download.
Any suggestions?
In the future, let the downloadable content in the queue completely install before launching the game. Back out to the dashboard, press the start button while highlighting the Forza tile and select ‘quit’. Then, see if the download continues. If not, shut down the console completely by holding the Xbox One’s power button (not the controller’s) until it turns off. Then, reboot.
I have tried both of your suggestions with no results. You are right about letting the content download first.
If nothing else works uninstall the game (game only) and reinstall.
It is not the car pack that is stuck, it is the game update.
