I just wake up today waiting for the “update” to solve the issue with the crashing. In my case, it crashes after 15 minutes playing. I have 8 friends that are suffering the same.
Where is the update? I didnt receive it, isnt it on Windows Update, not in Windows Store…
Microsoft please, solve this, the game is still crashing! Fix it ASAP please, we have paid 100€ for a game, not for a crashing show!!!
Same thing with me, I got 3 other friends that have the same exact issue. 15 min till crash, sometimes it lasts 35, but rarely

So, when we receive the promised update? This is annoying
this crashes is because you guys are using game sharing. you shared 1 account with several people and this is the problem.
It looks like they have triggers to do online checks, and when they do so the /renew request errors out because “another user” is using those tokens.
The initial license request however will never return this error, only the /renew. Meaning you can always start the game. But who knows for how long until the /renew hits.
sea of thieves had the same exact crashes with game sharing.
No honey, it’s not a shared game problem because many people has same problem with one-time purchase in MS Store. It’s a problem with the game itself! No hardware, No shared game, no something something 
I have stop playing FH3 because of very often random crashes, with FH4 i had only two crashes within two days since 28th september. I hope it were two first and last crashes…if not, i will return the game… $100 game to be precise, it’s not acceptable!

Is there an error messaging coming up or does it crash in a particular location or during a certain mode?
You could potentially try soft resetting the xbox by pressing and holding the Xbox button at the front of the console till it restarts. Or you could try hard resetting your Xbox, this can be done by turning off the Xbox button on the front of the console till its completely powered off, then unplug the power cable, wait 10-15 seconds before plugging it back in and turning everything back on.

I really like how there was no mention of an Xbox console anywhere to be found. Seems like a nice automated reply.
My game is random crashing after around 5 minutes in game (no error message), I am on PC (1080Ti / 4770K) - I notice there is a seperate thread with a lot of people complaining of random crashing on PC as well.
Please could someone confirm if this is being looked into?

I’m also crashing. Game stops - gray screen for 1 sec and then I’m greeted by my desktop.
I get that there can be issues at launch but spending 899kr (about 100$) for a game I can’t even play is not fun at all.
Same grey screen crash. But funny thing, that i was playing the game since friday without crashes, now… after update it crashes. NICE performance “Fix”
This seems to be an issue with Nvidia cards and their new drivers. By downgrading the drivers it could work.
P.s haven’t tested it yet.
Question, Does your game crash with a gray screen? then closes within 2 seconds after? I have noticed with running 2k-3k-4k with any of these on my 1080 ftw that it will crash way sooner. If I run 1080p with max settings, it will also crash alot sooner, … I have been trying to find some way to extend my game time before it crashess … So far 2K with 2x msaa is the only way to get at least 2 hours out of it.
I am running 1050ti gtx (over clocked) amd ryzen 5 on windows 10 x64…i need help ive updated the nvida experience as i had an issue with that but sorted that with the updates from windows…but still when i get to the loading screen it freezes and crashes…it worked perfectly fine last night but i dont know what else i can do!!!
