Horizon 3 - the game that just stays bad....

This game has gone from bad to, who am I kidding, it’s still bad (yes, i’m a PC player and am still having issues with FPS and crashing to desktop - this isn’t my main issue any more though!)

I was excited about this game, but there’s so many problems and annoyances with this game that it’s really hard to enjoy a good session. I could list all the problems/annoyances I have with the game, but I don’t particularly want to rant about personal preferences… this is more about why did this game go ‘gold’ when it quite obviously has many game breaking issues…

Again, i’m not going to list all of them as quite a few have already been brought up in the support thread (yet, still to to be fixed - funny that, eh?..)

In the poorly edited video linked below I have recorded game play that is quite obviously incorrect, two races that I clearly beat the car I was closest to, flags that I should’ve got and also cars I should’ve avoided in games… (plus a bonus glitch/bug that no idea if it has been patched or not so all you noobs can go try it out… because I know you will)

The first race you can clearly see i’m ahead of the Lancer…

In the results screen it clearly states an '04 Lancer which has a total max length of 4535mm, with me racing a '04 Impreza with a length of 4415mm which makes the Lan Evo potentially 120mm longer, but there’s clearly more than 120mm difference between my rear bumper and the other players which makes my front end ahead, which means I cross the line first…

The second race I clearly beat the other car again despite what ever length they both are, not only is my car clearly ahead, but the race position number above the opponents car changes from 2 to 3, yet I still lose by .001?? I thought the finish line was the archway, but after looking at the video, it clearly is past it as I could still control the car so I was still technically in the race…

The final clips are of various games, which yes could usually be due to network issues, but I was the only one using the internet at these times so that’s improbable. A couple of flags ares just outrageous!

There are so many more instances like this, but I haven’t the time to go through all my videos…

Just to clarify, I don’t mind losing, as long as it’s by my own mistake or a good, clean and fair race with some great driving skills (which is very rare in this game as there’s sooooooooooooo many bad drivers and sore losers out there).

To sum it all up, what’s the point in being competitive/skillful if it’s all for nothing? I might as well be like the other 90?% and just smash around and act like i’m retarded, hit people off the track and be done with it…

It doesn’t look like bugs so much as it does lag. All of these issues could easily be due to lag, graphically or connection. In both of those races, your race times were slower in the final result, meaning you weren’t actually ahead of the other car.

Just because you were the only person on the Internet does not mean you cannot experience lag. It may have been a blip on your ISP’s side or even on Microsoft’s.

It looks like your playing in a match with high ping, basically you are playing at a disadvantage due to not seeing things exactly as they are happening but slightly delayed.
