I’m glad the 1984 Honda City E II made it in, but I have mixed feelings. Personally, I think the City Turbo II (Bulldog) would’ve been the ideal choice.
Same goes for the Nissan Stagea—it’s a bit of a letdown that it’s not the 260RS. Feels like PGG’s picks are a little off this time, at least from my perspective.
The reason I feel disappointed is that once you swap the engine or add a turbo, you can’t open the hood anymore.
There’s literally no point in the bonnet opening if the engine underneath isn’t the original, that’s why you can’t open the bonnet once you’ve engine swapped
That’s why I said I wanted it to be a turbo from the beginning. I understand from the beginning that changing what’s under the hood in response to an engine swap would be an enormous amount of work, even without you telling me.
I don’t think it’s “no point” as you say. I do think it’s “an enormous amount of work and unrealistic.”
