im playing on pc via steam and some textures in the Background of the Homescreen are missing for me since launch. i tried everything from reinstalling to even buying a new pc but theyre still not there, i even researched if someone had a similar problem but i didnt found anything.
Hello @Horrorkidd9338 . Have you tried changing your graphic settings?
Did you install the latest OS version?
I don’t know much about these things, but this looks more like a lighting issue than a texture issue. Looks like those objects are not receiving any light and therefore are blacked out, even though logically they should receive light. Might also be a ray-tracing issue.
This problem occurred ~ last summer. I have not encountered it on the release. I solved the problem by setting high rendering level and RT\RTAO\RTGI to auto.
If you use RT Off, or medium rendering mode, you get black textures.
