I was going thru my photos, and noticed this photo has a light source I cannot explain. The location is just south of the Festival site in Surfer’s Paradise. The car is a Toyota GT86. I was trying to achieve a strong backlight, and front spotlight type effect.

There are two primary light sources in the photo.
The first is a streetlight, in front, and to the right of, the car. You can see this in the reflections in the top of the fender flares, and in the near edge of the roof. This also shows in the light on the top of the back seat.
The second is a Horizon Digital Billboard, located to the left of the car, behind the wall. This is seen on the reflections on the hood and the front edge of the roof.
What I cannot explain is how the driver is so well lit, in a car with no sunroof. He appears as if in daylight. What light source is casting a shadow down his neck?
I was expecting something similar to these shots, similar set-up (but not identical, more just the overhead streetlight as primary light source).

Thanks for looking, curious if anyone has any ideas.
Cheers!
