Using a Fanatec Porsche GT2 wheel, I seem to be unable to change angles from the front nose head on shot. What am I missing? I want to move the camera to capture the live action shot angle?

You need to use the controller. You cannot take photos except what you see using a wheel. Pause, stop the wheel by turning it off (or unplugging the power) then plug the controller in and resume your photo shoot. There are several areas in FM4 where you need to use the controller to navigate either menus or making selections. It has always been like that.
