Hello, I have a problem with the game “Forza 5”. I bought the “collector” pack so I am VIP. I do receive the freebie cars but I can’t get back them. I have an error message “we are sorry, an error occurs, please try again later”. I have this problem since the first day. Thank you for rectifying this problem. Best regards,

For tech support, I’ve found support.xbox.com has some pretty good resources. Last FM5 issue I had, I got what I needed from an Ambassador Chat session.
Not sure if these forums are monitored for tech-support responses, but I haven’t seen any direct path to Forza tech support (here or elsewhere).

If you have already downloaded the content, go to your home screen, click on the game, then hit the menu button on your controller. When the screen opens up hit the add on option and you should be able to re-download all of your DLC’s. My first Xbox one crashed and had to be replaced. I was able to re-download all of my VIP content and day one cars.
I have also noticed sometimes that if I turn Forza 5 on before I connect to the internet, the cars will show up but they have DLC above them and I can’t use them in the game. If that happen, you just turn the console off, make sure your internet is on, then turn the console back on. At this point it should recognize your DLC’s and your content should be useable.

You could try unplugging your console and starting everything up to see if that clears it.
You could try uninstalling the game and reinstalling it (your gamesave should remain intact and recognized when you start the game again)
You could try resetting your game save. This would wipe out your game progress, including garage cars, saved car files, tokens, and the gift messages, but might fix it so you can download gift messages in the future.
