I took a break to play Horizon 2 and came back to Forza 5 to find that something seems different about the credit payouts I’ve been getting. Example: shouldn’t ten laps around the airport course (with VIP) be worth more than 1800, regardless of whether I beat a rival? Anyway, I’m certain I used to get much bigger payouts. Does this seem wrong to anyone else?
I didn’t notice myself but I did cash in my Tier gift this weekend for November. I though I did this for Nov already but apparently not. But I was suprised that instead of the normal 1.5 mil, i got only $600,000???
I haven’t searched the board on this yet but does anyone know if this has changed?
Looks like you went from Tier 6 to Tier 7 (8500 points is the level change and you are at 87XX) - the extra is 600,000 credits and hence why you thought you had already claimed them. If you had already been Tier 7 at Nov 1 (like I was) you would have gotten 2,100,000 (ie 1,500,000 + 600,000), instead you got the 1,500,000 on Nov 1 or whenever you claimed them, but have since risen a Tier and the extra for that Tier was made available as well (the 600,000).
Since FH2 was launched tier 6 is no longer the top level. I’m assuming that this is the reason rewards have dropped. imho the rewards are useless, I am sitting on approx. 120m cr with nothing to spend them on. The whole in game credit system needs to be revisited. It was boosted early on after hysterical screamers whinged about not being able to drive the top priced cars straight away. T10 caved to pressure and, for me, further diluted the enjoyment of an already badly compromised game.
Bear in mind that the FH2 launch is the next profit centre for the franchise. All effort at T10 will now be concentrated on development of FM6 which is likely to be launched in about a years time.
