has the drivatar system been improved

has the drivatar system been improved or do they still smash/crash you a lot

I think its only really bad on small width tracks big tracks arent to bad

It seems fine to me. Why not fire up Forza 5 and check it out for yourself?

Played for a few hours earlier and didnt notice any difference. Still felt more like bumper cars than motor racing…Saying that once you get up to 5th and beyond it gets alot cleaner.

Exactly why I find it best to hang at the back of the pack through the first few turns and climb through the field as it straightens out. Trying to work your way up when the field is two-wide and bumper-to-bumper makes one susceptible to getting caught up in the Drivatar incidents.

See when you get t boned, smashed into etc. Does that effect your drivatar?

No one knows.

That’s not a system issue. It’s a player issue. It borrows behavior from players, so if players think crashing is racing then you get bumper cars.

It also depends on “our” settings when selecting the Drivatar Difficulty. If the original poster is selecting New Racer, Inexperienced or even Average, they will be facing people with behavior very much unlike those in the Highly Skilled, Expert, Pro or Unbeatable choices.

The higher the selection in Difficulty, the more chances you’re playing against skilled opponents and not the crasher/basher types.

As someone pointed out last week that’s not the case, I went through all the difficulties two days ago and found New Racer drivatars to be cleaner than Pro & Unbeatable drivatars the only problem was they were slow making it too easy but i didnt have them trying to take me out.

Yep. I’ve found that the better racers are the aggressive ones.

looks and feels the same to me

Looks and feels the same to me also, completely useless and the worst ai system I’ve ever played againsts.
