GTX - Modern GT Series - Fridays 9PM (UK Time) - Challenge Racing

GTX is Challenge Racing’s premiere GT series, and is a revival of the EGTX series that ran for 6 successful seasons when we used to manage EFM. You can find out more about the series on our forum here. We have a lighthearted yet competitive atmosphere and don’t take things quite as seriously as others, we’re all just here for good fun on track.

Rounds in Series: 1 warm up round, 10 championship rounds
Race Meetings: 10 weekly meetings, 1 race per meeting
Race Length: Lap based races, usually lasting 45 minutes - 1 hour

Championships: Overall, Pro, Am, Teams
Scoring: Your lowest scoring round will be deducted from your overall totals. Warm up rounds are unscored.
Teams: 2 Drivers max, must use same car.
Cautions: In the event of multiple car collisions, the race host will call a caution, in which all cars must bunch up behind the lead car at 70MPH until otherwise informed. Overtaking is not permitted under caution. If you are a lap down, you may not pass the field to make up that lap.
Penalties: Driving in such a way that our staff deem inappropriate (eg deliberate contact) will earn you a penalty decided by staff based on the offence

Eligible Car List
The following cars are eligible into GTX Season 1
All cars are to built to a maximum PI of R865. When restrictors are being removed, you may not exceed stage 1 removal. Engine, aspiration and drivetrain conversions are not permitted. Rims must be stock. All other upgrades are permitted. Any car specific restrictions will be listed under the relevant car.
Each car may only be used by one team.

Livery Requirements
Sides: All cars must have GTX number boards with numbers in white, made by blacking out sections of the supplied ‘88’ template. These boards are available from Shaunnnnnnnnn’s sharefront, and can be traced over to provide an unlocked version. Please make sure to use the correct PRO or AM board based on your classification.
Top: All cars must have the number board applied to the bonnet of the vehicle, as detailed above.
Rear Bumper: There are no mandatory vinyls for the rear bumper.
Front Bumper: There are no mandatory vinyls for the front bumper.
Rear Wing: There are no mandatory vinyls for the rear wing.

Driver’s PRO and AM classification will be decided by the laptime you can achieve around Circuit de Catalunya in your chosen GTX car.
Times faster than 1:50 are PRO
Times slower than 1:50 are AM

Please therefore state your classification next to your racing number. If you are not competitive in the class you have stated, our staff reserve the right to change your class.

Updates; Jag added to the car list

Tonight is Round 3 and the track is Nurburgring GP. Weather will be decided by a dice roll.

Tonight is Round 5 at Le Mans. We’ve had a quick calendar change to Le Mans full instead of the Bugatti circuit.

Round 6 at Yas Marina tonight

Tonight is Round 7 at Laguna Seca

Round 8 tonight at Bathurst.

Round 9 tonight is 32 Laps of Hockenheim
