Thank you and welcome to GTFOR Racing! We BROADCAST EVERY RACE, SO IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, AT LEAST BE AVAILABLE 3 RACES A MONTH. WE NEED MORE REGULARS THAT WILL SHOW UP EVERY WEEK. This is endurance (one hour) racing! Right now we are allowing just the one car in, spec built, tune ready, just to get things started. After this first season, once everyone is comfortable with the sanctioning body rules (such as no multiple blocks like f1, to you purposely hit someone you are out), than we will get our Grand Series League up and running which will have many cars from the ZL1 Camaro to a Lancia. But for now, lets discuss the Honda S 2000 shall we…
full build is listed below, designed and built for serious drivers who just want to race clean, fair, and have a good time doing it. Its a fast build that can take online lobbies, but makes you learn to drive the car in traffic. This is a learners series, so many of our drivers are giving this a go for their first time. Damage will be on, to force you to remember, you hit someone, you are taking the damage. Points are the same as F1 from 2013 (Latest News), and once the market place is up, we will require a buy in, and cars and money will be handed out to the top drivers.
What is cool, is that everyone in the league gets along and race together OUTSIDE of just league races. We have a pretty close group, and we all race most of the time. Hop on in and join us!!! We have openings for Tuesday afternoon race and Thursday evening race so come sign up! We will help practice, give tuning advice, and help where ever you need it. Again, this is a beginner league, and as long as you want to improve, this is the league for you. If you are looking for some better competition, faster cars, the MERC league is a better circuit than you.
With the DVR ability that EVERYONE has, we can now eliminate guessing with rough driving, over blocking, and blatantly hitting someone off track, we can now record the incident and ban that member, dock them points in the championship, or just dock them overall time depending on the case. We will have a review board for such cases, all of them drivers. Paint, assists, are all up to you.
update with the patch coming out later this month, we will have the ability to record online races. Every race will be recorded and highlights will be featured on our YouTube page!
Again, this is clean racing, this is fun and fair, so remember, we are all here to see who can be the best, so let the best driver win…
Pm message me on Xbox, follow me and I will add you to the meeting. I will be on all afternoon so message me to let me know you want in and welcome to THE LEAGUE!
Per our first meeting, the rules, regulations, board of directors, and everything that needed to be clarified was discussed and agreed upon and as is follows:
Driving rules:
-
Door banging will happen, deal with it. With that being said, forcibly moving someone out of your way is not allowed, period. You spin someone out, apologize, wait for them to go ahead of you into the pits, record what happened on both sides, and report it. Myself and the board will review, and by majority will decide a punishment. Punishments will be listed later.
-
It is the person doing the passing to ensure no hard contact. The driver being passed is allowed to make 1 (one) block move to maintain position. The driver being passed can block but only to the point where there is still 1 (one) car width away to ensure you DO NOT run ANYONE off track. Banging doors will happen first and foremost, but DO NOT hit someone off the track. Accidents will happen, and so will penalties. Races will be reviewed before final judgment comes down. Again this is not discouraging hard racing, but in fact ensuring clean and fair racing. Formula one established this rule among others. I am carrying over a few rules from Formula one. If you are unsure, search YouTube or the formula one website.
-
You are responsible for your car, and what happens because of which. Maintain control of your car. Slightly drifting is one thing and is fine, when you slide off track and take two cars out because you were over driving the car, that is punishable. Drive to your cars capabilities, you over drive the car, thats when accidents happen, so again, MAINTAIN CONTROL.
-
Communications: we will all be in the party, we all have a mic of some sort, so if you are going to pass, and time is allowed, (some passes happen quickly), than announce it to the driver. Communication will help avoid many accidents, maintaining control is the other key, now we can run a safer and run hard still without worrying about being punted because you passed them.
-
Lapped traffic: you are being lapped, you give the race line to the lead cars, period.
-
Camera views, driving assists, and auto transmission, are all up to you. Drive how you are comfortable. Same with your setup. BUILD STAYS AS IS, SETUP IS UP TO YOU.
-
DVR capabilities, we all have it, something happens, record it, and bring it up to the board.
-
Disciplinary actions: punishments are (added to your final time) 10 sec, 30 sec, 1 race suspension, 3 race suspension, lifetime ban. Depending on severity of infraction, punishment will fit the crime. The board will bring down judgment after video review right after the race.
-
Once the marketplace opens up, there will be a “buy in” to race in the series, at a later date for a later series. Prizes and LCE cars will be given away to the champion.
-
Race points are same as F1 as linked above. Qualifying will also happen, one 15 minute session with everyone in the lobby as ghosts, than when we race we get in order, do an opening “parade lap” to warm everything up, green flag drops one clock ticks down to 1.00.00 (one hour).
-
Racing season, 10 races, one hour in length. Qualifying, 15 minutes. Over all time per race is around 1.5 hours.
-
Recruiting. You like how we race, you have friends interested in the same thing, bring them with. We have plenty of room. Set them up with the rules, and the car, and forward them to me. We will go over any questions, and go from there.
-
Bottom line, we are all tired of b.s. online and want to really race, so if this sounds like you, hit us up. We are currently at 16 drivers registered so far, and looking for more drivers for both daytime and night. Also, discussing Saturday afternoon races, if we can enlist enough people for it than we will have it, interested pm me on Xbox.
-
Paint, your cars, use our number plate, download from my creator page, and leave your mark with a paint job/ sponsors. Sometimes its easier saying the color or number of a car than some of your gamertags.
-
Will add any rules when needed. Bottom line, we all want to race hard and fair, so these rules are final, and for the benefit of all drivers. Only to ensure fair racing, period. If you both go all Kyle Busch on each other than its both of your faults and penalties will come down. Again, we are all here for the same reason, so let this race group be what we were all want it to be.
-
Qualifying- day of race, we will all spawn onto the track, with collisions off (so no one will be in anyone way). A 5 second run off time between drivers, and 15 minutes to get your best lap in. Clean laps count, dirty will be in the back of the pack. Again, only to ensure fair times, and to ensure you are not cutting corners.
