As part of out 1990 Indy Car World Series, Global Sim Racing will be hosting a 50 lap race around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 8th ! This spectacle will be open to all members of the Forza community, and feature a unique week long qualifying attempt. The race will be run with open tuning, no assists, and view forced to cockpit.

This race will be held Sunday, May 8th at 12:00 PM EST/5:00 PM GMT.
All drivers will compete in the 1990 #30 Shierson Racing Chevrolet -Lola T90/00.
Qualifying Procedure:
-Tuning is open for both qualifying and the race, however, no upgrades will be allowed.
-All members, regardless of rank, are allowed to compete.
-Qualifying runs can be made any time from 1:00 PM EST/6:00 PM GMT May 1st (following IROC Race) until 7:00 PM EST/12:00 PM GMT May 7th, as long as an admin is present.
-23 cars, plus 1 pace car, will make the race.
- The starting field will be set by the fastest lap time over 4 laps.
-Each driver will be allowed 3 attempts to make the field. - Previous qualification times will be withdrawn once another attempt is made.
- Once started, a qualification attempt must be finished (no abortions).
Race Procedure:
-Race will be 50 laps.
-Tuning is open, however, no upgrades will be allowed.
-Damage will be simulation
-All assists are off and cockpit view will be forced to cockpit
-There will be a 3 wide start.
-Restarts will be single-file.
-Cautions will be thrown for multiple car accidents.
