GSI (Grip Shift Infantry) is a full sim race team established 3-29-16. We are all about
close, competitive, fun, clean, full sim racing. All members are expected to act in a
considerate manner which does not ruin other peoples racing experience. Its all about fun
in the end right? We are actively recruiting. We are planning on running some very good
series starting soon. Everyone on the team is active almost daily so even if you don’t
wish to join the team, we are always looking for more people, who enjoy full sim racing,

Being that there are cars available from 5 manuactures, We will be limiting the total
number of cars from each to 5. This is in an effort to keep the grid as diverse as
possible.
Build Specifications:
In this series, Racers are free to upgrade the cars as they see fit, Although must abide
by a 800PI restriction.
1.)Driver Information.
All drivers must register Gamertag, car, and number at begining of season/series using
the template below.
There may not be duplicate driver numbers. See List below to view taken numbers.
Drivers may not change cars mid season.
All cars must have livery displaying driver number.

2.)Race Format
Each raceday will be run on a bi-weekly basis to allow us time to review all footage as
well as allow adiquate time for drivers to prepair for the race.
Each race day will include 2-3 lap qualifyer with a 20 second roll off delay.
This is to decide grid position for sprint race.
This will be followed by a sprint race of 5-15 laps, followed by a endurance race of20-35
laps.
on race 2 the start grid will be set to best lap ascending. This is to place the faster
drivers from race 1, at the back of the pack. Part of our effort to keep everything fair
& fun.
Weather will be variable on the tracks that allow it.
On these tracks all activity will take place in the rain.
Each race will incorporate both daylight and night driving on the tracks that allow this.
This means Race 1 will take place in the daylight and race 2 will be under the lights.
Lobby will be open to “guests” that have read the rule book, in the case of vacaint
spots.
A common covienient start time will be decided at start of season.
3.)Rules & regulations
Full Sim Damage will be on (remember that a pit-stop will repair damage).
All driver asists will be forced off.
In race 1 there are 2 manditory pit stops, in race 2 there are 4 manditory pit stops
Trailing drivers need to make a clean pass without damaging the car in front or pushing
it off track, and leading drivers need to leave room for a passing driver if any part of
their car is alongside at the start of the braking zone.
If a collision does occur, the offending driver must releinquiush the gained position to
whom he encroached upon.
Any car contact received can be reported and each case of reported contact deemed
avoidable and significant enough to affect another driver’s race (making a pit-stop for
repairs necessary) will be penalized 2 minutes.
Drivers Reported unsportsmanlike will Have a conferance with admin board to plead both of
their cases, This is in an effort to keep everything fair and healthy.
Drivers who are clearly acting in an unsportsmanlike fashion will be disqualified from
the race.
Drivers who continue to be unsportsmanlike will be barred from the series after 2nd
offence.
4.) Points and scoring
Races will be scored on a set scale. Last will always recieve 1 point. First will
recieve 1 point more than the number of total participants.
3 Bonus points will be awarded each race day for qualifying on pole position
Results will be posted on this thread, they will be posted as individual round results
with timing information.(Fastest lap and Total Time)
