Having recently built a custom gaming PC rig for myself I’m now in the market for a headset to use with it. I currently use my hifi speakers but want a headset to use for Skype, in-game chat and for a more immersive way to play games/listen to music privately/cancel noise when mixing.
Since I’ve always used a quality speaker system I’m totally new to headsets and want some recommendations that fit my needs as I don’t know many brands. Basically what I’m looking for is:
- Incorporated microphone (quality isn’t too important but has to be decent enough for Skype etc)
- Good bass (I listen to a lot of bass-heavy music)
- Good sound quality
- Either Aux or USB2.0 connectivity
- Not too expensive (I overspent on the rig itself so this is where I’m gonna have to cut corners)
- I don’t care what it looks like or what colour it is
I found this one for £35 and it looks like it fits my needs, so if anyone can comment on the reliability or suggest alternatives I’d be grateful
