Renault 5 Turbo (B600) Speed Version/Grip Version on Page2

Another requested tune,was happy to do this as didnt really finish my first attempt at this car.
Decided to tune this for TCS as its horrible to use without it,believe me i did try lol.
The grip build on page2 i tested round silverstone gp,runs easy top50s,but i havent properly lapped it yet,just made sure it drove well.
This speed version i have tested on the lb’s at Sebring short,I run 15th (1.16.021) But have had a 1.15.5xx when rewinding my errors.
This is not a easy car,but goes like stink when you get used to it,i started running quick after lap 3-4. I used 5th gear the first bend,3rd gear 2nd bend,
then 4th gear on all the other turns.

Corvette C7 (S800)

This is the first tune request i have recieved on here… the Corvette C7 for S class.
I started tuning it on nurburgring,then testing and tweeking it on Rd Atlanta.
Im abit rusty in S class as i usually race C & B,but i run a 1.19.048 at atlanta(would be 52nd) and i think abit faster is possible with some more track time in this car.
I hope you like it. I tuned this with TCS ON.

And thats it… It should make a decent lobby car,and should be able to top100 a good amount of tracks when driven well.
I did notice when testing this,you will get faster slow corner exit speeds if you stay in 3rd gear instead of 2nd.

Alfa Romeo Spider (C500)

This is a oldie but goodie,i built this back in march before the 1.6 started to dominate everything.
I have this car still Rank 34th on Road America-Alt (2.31.889),it is also very fast for Sebring and Bathurst.
This is a quick car tuned for speed tracks,its comparable to my speed elan for times it produces,will suit intermediate to advanced drivers.
Its tuned for NO TCS,but if you find it hard turn it on. I will probably beat its time soon so decided to share with you guys. Enjoy.

Above you can see i have put in 2 sets of gears,the first is what i have used at cat school,it will stall off the line but is fine when you get moving.
The 2nd set is more allround friendly set-up that will not stall off the line,better suited for multi player and other tracks.
I have this tune 16th at catalunya school (43.246) I think it is capable of top10.

Mercedes SL 65 AMG Black Series (S800)

I built this car because my friend screechymon has done a evil looking fantasy paint for it. I recommend you check it out.
I wasnt expect much because i cant remember seeing any on the lb’s,but it really isnt that bad. I tuned it on Nur GP and it run top200 times,
I also run it at Bathurst and got Rank#118 (2.02.196) on the lb’s,so should be a good top200 capable lobby basher for the non-lb car drivers(that rare breed lol).
This car has monster Torque so i advise using TCS for this one.

Maserati Tipo 61 (B600)

I built this car after loosing to one in emw simmo’s nur gp tuning comp.
It is one of the faster non-1.6L cars i have.
This tune is fairly easy but not idiot proof as its very light,if you find it too loose try raising the front arbs,or use tcs.
The tipo is a strong online racer,capable of top50 lb times when used well. I currently have it rank#39 at nur gp (2.10.024) without tcs.

Ford F-100 (D400)

Was bored so i thought i would chase the fast trucks at sebring club.
This is what i came up with for the ford F100. Got 54th seb club 1.15.411,fastest truck when run. im sure faster is possible as i rarely touch d class.

Yep, that’s why I am checking all the ones posted out, lol…plus, a couple of shared. Trying to build my own as well, yet, preoccupied with other comps.

Sweet truck. It amazes me how sometimes it’s a single click on the slider that makes all the difference and other times the settings can be all over the place and achieve the same result. I tried for hours to make 3 deg of camber and min bump work and kept coming back to -1.5 camber and 3 bump yet here is this one. I really really really like the way this thing gets into and rolls through the corners. I need to take it back to Sebring because it did what a Sebring car(truck) needs to do but I was having too much fun at Road America. I did struggle a little with rear grip coming off, however, and the carousel was a handful even with TCS ON. If I could have kept it strait exiting turn 6 and though the carousel I’m certain it would have been a new pb somewhere in the top 300.

I am very glad you like it,i did only tune this on sebring. I set the aero low to try squeeze every mph out of it. For more complex tracks it may be worth raising the aero until it feels stable to your liking.
I have had mostly positive feedback on my tunes so plan to upload more open source stuff and maybe put up a tune catalog up. Thanks for the feedback.

Swift. yes you are a prolific tuner. Can Pac and I please get some more grip and speed so we can post faster times than you when we feel like it. :slight_smile: Also can we get some more race paints from you?

Lol,you crack me up. Keep practicing chris,you will get there if you keep going. As for the paints… :frowning: it takes tooooo long… in the first few weeks i did a bit,F50,R32,S15,beetle,escort,and a kia ceed recently. What car you want painted? Not promising tho :wink: after seeing pacs work i feel my paints arent really worth bothering.

Haaaaaa hahaha!!! quality. Chris we are seriously thinking about changing our club name from Elite MotorSports to Holy Grail Racing if T10 decide to give us clubs back. You wont send the ‘boys’ round to deal with us will you? I remember you saying the brits are hardcore. The freemason logo would be a cool garage badge. ;D

Swift, since you released your prolific HOLY GRAIL tune it only seems wise that Pac and I do a prolific free mason paint right. Let him know so we can start working on this right away. It will go well with your tune right.

Well Swift. My start point was 2:05.03 on Nur. Gp my build and tune. With your build, my tune I did a 2:04.4. And with your complete open source tune. I just posted a 2:03.6.

Nice tune swift. At this point I’ll just download and install your tune m8. I’d be foolish not to. :wink:
