984 Moffat was running the 13b pp engine…factory race engine,he was supplied with a spare and ancillary kit to bolt one in if needed…the engine had a service life of around 2000kms only…they were build that way to cope with the fuel supplied and the copious amount used…these factory race 13b would run at 9 to 11k rpm all day no problem,produced in excess of 320hp and made this a formidable opponent to the v8’s…its a shame we will never witness this again…
