also, how hard would it be to add an icon in AH that shows if you own the car or not? if we are going to be bludgeoned with so many versions of the same car, can we not at least know which ones we have while shopping? With 500+ in the garage its kinda tough to remember which m5 or rs4 i havent got ten copies of.
when in the Autoshow Menu, go into the “Filter” Options by pressing the Y Button, and chose “Not Owned” in the list of Filters, the Autoshow will then only Show what Cars you do not have.

Im referring to in AH. FM7 has an icon that shows if each car is in your home garage, for whatever reason the FH series omits this feature.

Is there anyone out there who know’s when the garage limits are being raised because it seem’s to me like their waiting for this title to be removed from the game pass before they impliment the larger cloud saves and are just waiting for the free rider’s to wrap in , It seems a bit silly all the EXPERTS advising player’s to invest in external hard drives and then the game not utilising them , and when was it decided to release more car’s than your garage can hold , And those EXPERT’S coming along again saying auction all your cheap car’s to make room for the new one’s , Microsoft need to really have look at all this cross platform gaming as who in their right mind is going buy a pc capable of running the latest console games aswell as an xbox one x , and do pc user’s have to have gold membership to play online multiplayer if not then console owner’s who have got the full game shouldn’t have to either, To be honest I think Microsoft have given up trying to defend their part of the console world and are selling their soles to improve their share of the pc market but I think they have left it to late sony has control of cod and they own gran turismo , Well I started ranting a bit there but the multiplayer is a mess where you can’t even see your opponent and the wheelspin system is dead because of the garage limits, i’ve got about 170 and cannot use them so Im just leaving them to pile up

I could take offence to that statement. My PC runs both Horizon 4 and Motorsport 7 on Ultra at 4K. Plus I have an XboxoneX. They both have their place.

Remember how long it took to raise the garage limit it FM4? Yeah, this is a hindrance and a pain. Like a few others have said, just keep trying to sell your dupes, or removing them. What would be nice is the ability to sell our cars back to the marketplace for cash instead of not getting anything out of it.
The problem is it takes about the same length of time to go through removing duplicates regardless of how many dupes you have to remove. So when you have 450 cars, you might only need to do it once a month, but if you have 540 cars, you have to do it every day, and it consumes the same amount of time every day as it used to consume once a month when you had more headroom. Each time I do a cull now, I’m only dropping to around 530 cars, and of course each week there’s more exclusive cars I have to obtain, so the problem just gets worse and worse and worse every week. If it doesn’t get fixed soon, I’m going to have to make a list of the cheapest cars that can be bought from the autoshow and cull those each time on top of the dupes.

This is what I did. I went through and dumped a bunch of garbage green cars that I remember getting multiple times on wheelspins and knowing that they’re not worth anything. But I just completely stopped playing the game, because like you said, having to cull your garage every single day before you race is ridiculous. I’ve got better things to do with my time than manage an inventory system that was broke the day it shipped it, and hasn’t been fixed since.

currently holding at 539 cars… and not redeeming my weekly car pass 
So still no word as to when this multi million dollar firm is going get round to making this game fun , Limited garage , crap server’s , virtually unplayable multiplayer , an expansion pack that was only worth playing for the first month and such a small collection of track’s that the company are using track’s blueprinted by players as challenge’s , So if your not into rallying or that STUPID drifting theres not a lot of fun to be had , getting back to the point 4 day’s 2 more cars that will be left as because of the constant rollover of time zones they cannot reset the garage limit without causing major problems , How could they think that a 550 garage limit would work with almost that many cars available within week’s of the release ,and putting it on gamepass caused it to be a cloudsave nightmare 4 month’s and the game is hopeless at what it should be great at providing a fun racing experience

I’ve hit the 550 limit a few times but recently I hit it without a single duplicate. It’s most frustrating to someone like me with a collector’s mentality which unique car I’m supposed to get rid of. Like a Borg queen deciding which of her drones should be cut from the hive, it can’t be done.

I’ve come to the conclusion this is the way to handle it. I don’t like not knowing how much money I have waiting for me in the wheelspins, but as I can’t spend the money anyway due to the lack of garage space, there’s no point converting the wheelspins into money and risking winning duplicate cars, better to just let them pile up till the garage space is increased, that way I don’t have to waste half an hour every couple of days doing a cull.
Remove everything you don’t have a dedicated build/tune on that’s 20k (and not any type of exclusive). Then 25k, then 30k, and so-on if you have to. I have 400 cars but my achievement counter says I’ve owned 479 different cars… it doesn’t matter if you delete or sell any of them, for the achievement.
IMO you’d have to be a little crazy to be able to look at 550 or more cars in your garage. I was down to 360 last week and still got a headache going through it.

Many of us want to own every car and that is allready almost 600 cars right now. I will have like 630 cars right away when we finally get garage update.
jonk1969 say earlier that PG hopes to get garage upgrade done before febuary so that’s in 4 days away now, i really hope they can do that.

I’m sure I’m not the only one that likes to drive every car at some point.
This game has a 2 year life cycle… sometimes it’s fun to just go through every car in the game and just drive around casually…go through each company alphabetically. Maybe do a few brands in an evening, and play almost every day.
I’ve done this in previous forza horizons and plan on doing it with this one.
I sell all my duplicates and still have at least 50 spots(all those million + dollar cars) so I’m not worried yet, but I really do hope they fix this as it will eventually be a concern of mine.
If you’re hitting the limit and you’re not rich enough to buy all the 10 million cars then you probably have a lot of useless dupes in your garage, and I’m not speaking of the junk prizes from the wheelspins.
There are a lot of us that have every single car available at the auto show and many exclusive cars. Yet we still don’t have room for the Mitsubishi car pack for instance. It has nothing to do with dupes at all. There are literally many more cars in the game than the 550 space garage will hold. That has clearly been discussed for two pages now.
