So nothing new said at Gamescom about FM7? Same trailer and same gameplay as shown at E3. Unless I missed anything, it was all stuff we’ve been told before.
I’d expected there to at least be something new mentioned here. Just makes it look like there’s very little new in this game over the previous iteration.
What are they doing. Not even a new trailer. P cars 2 have great previews, gts has had a open beta, and forza cant even make a new trailer for Gamescom. Unbelivable
Wooooowwww. I didn’t think they could disappoint me any more than they already have, but they managed to drain a little more water out of the pool.
It’s actually kind of insulting; basically what they’re saying is “we’re not going to even bother marketing this barely new game, because you saps are gonna buy it anyway.”

Yes … it is the first day … but they also specifically promoted and tweeted earlier this week that they would be talking about FM7 today during the XBox stream … and still did not mention or show anything at all that we haven’t seen before.
i just dont think we should all give up hope yet since it just started, im sure theyll have something new to say…hopefully

The game’s due to release in little over a month, and there’s very little in the way of information, or promotion. It’s honestly rather worrying.
How is it worrying? They’ve already released probably 95% of the information related to this game. What were you guys really expecting? What is there to worry about, seriously? As with previous versions, and as to be expected, Forza 7 will be its normal small iteration over the last version. It will support 4K, with a few ‘new’ cars and a few ‘new’ tracks. What else did anybody think would magically happen?
This was the official Microsoft stream, with a segment for Forza 7, that would’ve been the perfect opportunity to announce some great, new feature that would excite people. But nothing. Absolutely nothing.
I find it difficult to believe there’ll be anything new announced during the week, where it’d be more likely to go unnoticed.

Yeah my fault for believing what google said rather than watching it.
Hopefully we hear something of significance soon - as much as I love the franchise, the lack of details this close to launch is a little concerning.

I might skip Forza this year. I’ve never been so disappointed before.
I was -almost- this disappointed with Horizon 3, but that was post-launch when I saw what we actually got - they hype beforehand was insane. I guess at least with this they are being honest with the hype, that there is nothing to be hyped about. As this is really the only game I -was- looking forward to, I’m even thinking to not bother with the One X. What a drab time to live in.
When FM7 was first announced was there not a mention that career info would be revealed at Gamescom? It’s entirely possible this is just wishful thinking, and based on how things have gone so far I wouldn’t be surprised.
Best guess I have is maybe on Tuesday when they’d usually do the Forza Garage reveal they unveil some info.

Like Le Mans, their main staff could be in Germany.
I’m assuming the worst result that there is no update of Forza Garage this week.
I mean, yeah, they could reveal something on Tuesday to coincide with the Forza Garage. But jeez, they make it so much harder to be excited for this game - what should be the best console track racer out there - than it should be.
Man got to love the comments above about the lack of information. The game has still got a month to go before launch and they’ve revealed 550 of the 700 cars and 30 track locations. Don’t know what you guys are waiting for but a racing game for me involves 2 key ingredients… cars & tracks.
