This problem has existed since the year of the game’s launch in 2021. If there is only one fundamental problem that FH5 should have fixed during its current lifecycle, it is this!
With the number of cars currently in game (as of Apex AllStars Series), it is frankly ridiculous and impossible to list the problems - given it is simply not car-specific - but a core graphics/lighting bug of FH5 that has affected almost every vehicle.
When driving in the open world or racing on a course, the exposure, lighting and contrast change very drastically and inconsistently between camera modes.
The Chase Cam mode with the car almost always has the correct lightning, exposure, brightness and contrast. Choosing anything else like Cockpit View, Hood View, Dashboard View or Open view - fully eliminates all consistency and beauty of this game ‘s lightning.
It is either extremely dim and tinted, or completely blown out and overly exposed when switching to these camera modes, it is has heavily affected the core gameplay quality and experience; and has been absolutely bothering me since 2021 as I usually always drive in cockpit view or hood view.
The camera views shouldn’t affect the lighting unless your in cockpit view where some glare would obviously be contained. It’s either too DIM or too BRIGHT while the cause cam always maintains the consistent and correct lighting depending on the time of day.
I request T10 Studios and Playground Games to actively work on this problem and fix it as soon as possible! Reference pictures will be posted here soon.
