I tried to start my Horizon 4 game on my XBox One X today and it told me I had an update. I went sure and started the update which was 8GBs. After about 3 minutes of nothing happening it said the update was taking too long to respond and to try again. I tried again and got the same message after the same long delay. However, after the second time it said there was a problem with Horizon 4 and i should reinstall. I shows on my games list but there is a message to say there is a problem with the game and I should reinstall it. NOT HAPPY!!
This [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] should not happen! I downloaded my Ultimate Edition copy so to reinstall it will take me many hours to the slow internet we have in Australia. If you have buggy expansions don’t release them before they are stable!!! On top of the lousy Online experience in the Seasonal Challenges and the problems with the AI in the other seasonal challenges I am at the point after buying every version of Forza to vow to never ever get another Horizon title. There has been no real visible effort by the developers to admit when they get things wrong so I guess they won’t be getting my hard earned cash when Horizon 5 comes along.
I wonder if I can bill Microsoft or Playground Games for the excess data me having to reinstall Horizon 4 again? Who is to say if I reinstall it it won’t just be unplayable again?
