Game Reset

The game is making a habit of freezing up when I leave an online adventure.

Its beyond annoying at this point. Each and everytime I leave an online game to tune a car, once I go to apply the new setup it freezes.

97% of the time it does and thats way too high. Can we get a patch to fix this please?

I spoke with Microsoft Support this morning and they are trying to fix the server on their end. I was not able to sync with the Cloud since Saturday. So my game is at level 1 and I should be at level 700. All of my cars are gone from the garage. MS Support told me to continue to check and see if their server will be back on line in the next few days.

Ohhhh man i’d lose my mind if that happened. Not to mention when it does reset it doesnt retain your current rank

Ouch! One thing to keep in mind: NEVER interrupt a cloud sync, even if it takes hours. I’ve seen a few people post in these forums that it took them 12-24 hours to finish syncing. That’s probably a worst-case scenario and it would likely be done much sooner in the vast majority of cases, but regardless you should do absolutely nothing until the cloud sync is complete. Otherwise, you risk losing all your progress.

And this is why having to rely on a cloud save is a bad thing.

Is there another way to save your data for this game? I see some USB connections but how do you transfer the game save data to the USB stick?

Also, my Cloud game save data is only 21 MB in size so it only took a few minutes to sync with the Cloud. I was able to sync to Horizon 3 game this morning but when I opened the game, I did not see all of my Achievements, DLC car packs and all of the Achievements. So I am not sure what it was syncing to this game???

When I opened up my profile, I still see all of my Achievements, trophies and DLC car packs. The wireless connection is always on when I play all of my games. So I know it is saving to the Cloud game save. Microsoft Support told me this morning that the problem is on T10 game developer side. I sent them several emails but nothing back from them.

Sounds like there are too many technical issues for this game if you look under all the “Forza Horizon 3 Support – Xbox One” threads. Might have to return the Xbox One console back and the game as well. What a bummer. I was beginning to really enjoy playing this game. Even more then Forza 6 which I recently sold.

Not that I’m aware of, no. All you can do is hope the cloud storage doesn’t go wrong.

Only way to find out if there is something wrong with my cloud storage if T10 will respond back to my emails. I hear positive things about their customer support. So I hope they will get back to me soon.

Mine has a habit of shutting off and going to home screen (XOne) so I give up and stick BF or Fifa on

I too have been doing that. Last night it wouldnt even let me online so I jumped on BF4 myself.
