My game crashes on a freshly installed windows 10 with all updates and the gpu driver installed at the initial load without a error message.
The game starts to load and suddenly the spinner at the right corner stops and I am back at the desktop.
Other games work fine.
This is not a hardware issue.
All the latest drivers and updates installed.
My system:
Core I7 4790k
24Gb Ram
AMD RX 480
Do other people have this issue and how can i fix it?
Hey I’ve got the same issue, tried tonnes of things to get it working but it just won’t launch. all the latest drivers only difference might be that I’m running on the windows insider program version of windows 10 pro.
This game for me, worked when it came out, and then after the first update, crash. Next update, crash. Crash, crash, crash. Tried everything. Update drivers. Reinstall 20 times. This, that. Tried with 1 gpu, the game works. The minute I put the other gpu in, even without the sli bridge. CRASH. and if they expect you to only play with 1 gpu, even though they say sli is not compatible, and the game will only utilize 1 card, that does not mean every time I want to play Forza, I have to tear apart my pc and do it again. Hopefully, this is fixed for Horizon 3, and supports non-xbox one wheels.
I just downloaded and installed Forza 6 Apex for the first time last night. When I try to start it, I get the Turn 10 and MS logos, then the loading screen, then the game crashes/closes without error messages, just like you guys are describing.
Ich have the same issue with my PG279Q, you have to change the refresh-rate to 120Hz. Than you can start the Game.
After you unlock the refresh Rate in Game Options you can switch back to 165Hz
Another “Solution” is to change the Monitors OC Setting to 160Hz
I have just had this problem (well the same crash after loading screen), and I tracked it down to having left stereoscopic 3d enabled in the NVidia drivers.
