Game bug

Sorry if this has already been mentioned. I’m having a problem where when I buy a new car and download someones tune and then remove the tune I cant install the performance parts that were used in that tune unless I had already purchased that part. Like if I got a new car and downloaded a tune that used a twin turbo, then removed the tune and tried to put on that same turbo it says the part is owned but it wont install it. Anyone else have this problem?

I’ve read similar posts before. In some cases the order of installing owned parts matters.

So, if a tune comes with: airfilter, exhaust, cams, twin turbo and flywheel and those were applied by the tuner in a certain order, there is sometimes a chance you cannot “just” fit the twin turbo to the stock car again because the (figurative) pipes and connections aren’t there.

But my knowledge of tuning isn’t up to par nor can I retrace your history on the forums concerning tuning; have you tried that subforum for maybe more answers and/or found tune-issues in http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst22765_Forza-Horizon-2-Issues--Update--10--10-24-12-31-p-m--PST.aspx ?

Its a bug that has been present for several games now - can be fixed on previous games by applying a suitable tune from someone else. It happens when you apply a tune that has an aspiration change but don’t own the aspiration parts first. There are several threads about it in the FM5 forums but I don’t know if the fixes still work for it in FH2.
