The game was running fine till I had to install the new 300mb update. After installing the game was freezing multiple times and at the same time making a repetitive “bzzzt” noise? The car noise on my Lamborghini Veneno sounded slightly different.
Has anyone else been experiencing this?
you got further with it than i did. mine refused to finish the update and i kept getting “installation stopped!” messages. so just uninstalled FH2 and am now re-installing. hoping i havent lost everything.

Mines been the same, really annoying during a race when the game locks up the road goes a plain colour and the timer ticks away

It happened for me during the first finale, now it either happens randomly or in certain parts of the map, tunnels seems to be a recurring one
I have only experienced this one time when playing an online roadtrip and I happened to be in a lobby of possible the worst driving, most rude, annoying, ramming 11 people I have encountered in Forza Horizon 2. Then mid-race everything froze, the engine sound hung up so I left it alone and eventually - possibly two minutes or so - the game crashed.
I have a couple people I’ve played with who also say this has happened to them, some with more frequency than others. I know one individual who this happens to approximately once a night.
I have had the freeze a few times, I find it only happens if there are atleast 3 or more people talking in the room, if the room is quiet things seem to run smoother
EDIT my freezing issues have happened randomly and have nothing to do with any specific update
Same, it happened to me a few times before the update. This last time I was driving awesomely. Maybe I was too awesome for the game to handle XD
Happened in multiplayer when choosing a car for next road trip, makes that constant droning sound. Not sure if it was updates fault though
Think it must be to do with the latest content update.
I haven’t experienced any freezing issues but I’ve had this constant audio bug which is starting to get annoying. The sounds goes basey and echoy when offroad and tinny when on road.
Hope this gets fixed soon because this is pretty much my favourite game at the moment.
