Four cam tbird's Replica and Original Race Liveries - Bunch of new stuff in my latest post

I got owned hard by photobucket and this is now the biggest load of fail on the entire forum.

Latest completed project: Kohr Motorsports IMSA CTSC livery on the Mustang GT350R (now also shared on the 2015 Mustang GT for those who aren’t VIPs and don’t have the GT350R). This car sat on the GS class pole at Daytona and was driven by Dean Martin and Cameron Maugeri. Jack Roush Jr was on the driver roster originally, not sure what happened but they covered his name up and that is why there is a gap on the names on the roof, that’s how the car raced. I originally had Roush on the car as I was working from some pics of when they loaded it in the trailer but it is shared as raced. They had a half shaft issue that cost them time and the finished down in the order.

Week 2 - 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 - 1995 Mark Martin Brickyard 400 livery with '60’s-70’s Trans Am Contingencies

Contingency decals are asymmetric as pics of both sides of the car exist and that is how it raced. An alternate #44 version of that car has also been shared. I will be painting cars for two teams already officially. Hoping to get a few more teams under my painting umbrella and have been working on some design concepts. The series runs as 3 car teams so liveries either need some aspect that has an alternatable color or the cars need to have accented wing, splitter, windshield banner, mirrors to visually distinguish cars of a team. If you like anything you see here and would like it personalized or on a different car I’m willing to accommodate that. Just reply or send me a message on XBL.

Red and Blue Traxxas variants are shown in the cars above, here is a third color variant to that livery shown on the Subaru BRZ but also shared all three colors on the Nissan IDx. This livery ended up racing on the Hyundai Veloster and is shared in Red, Blue, and Green on that car as well.

Stewart Haas announced they will be running three Mobil One sponsored cars this weekend at Pocono, providing great material for a Touring Car livery as mocked up and shared on the Focus ST. This livery is also shared in both red/blue variants on the Vauxhall Astra but didn’t end up racing in the series. Red wing version is also now available on the Focus RS in FM6 and FH3.

Ore Ida livery on the Renault Megan RS 250. On this I had a revlation after creating this sample car. The bags of Ore Ida products have different colors for different products so if a team uses this livery the three cars would have different product ribbons in place of French Fries in the appropriate color and the blue accents would be changed to correspond with the ribbon.

The latest revision of the livery the team I’m on will be running. I’ve wound up with various versions of this floated out into share land on different cars, seen here on the Honda Civic

The final version of the Team SRN Racing livery that won the team championship as raced on the VW Scirocco. This is shared in the versions of all three team drivers. The blue accents shown, with red accents, and also with bright orange accents as driven by me.

Toyota GT86 as driven by EarlyApex Motorsports. This livery was inspired by one raced on 2000GTs back when they were campaigned. It was raced as show with blue stripes and also red and lime green stripes. All are shared. The EarlyApex logo was a bit of a back and forth with the team when I created it. This is the way the team wanted it but the cars are shared with a couple variants of the logo that can be seen in the game and if you go flip through my photobucket album. I personally like all of the other variants better, such is the chore of doing a commissioned work.

The wrap of the seasonedgamers.com touring car series has ushered in a new Formula Mazda series and a new round of liveries for a good part of the field. The Traxxas and STAR Laboratories liveries seen in other series have been successfully adapted to the Mazda open wheelers. Here are a few WIP screenshots of a couple other liveries that have been completed and shared.
Valvoline livery I am running inspired by the mid 90’s Valvoline liveries of Robby Gordon’s Indycar and Mark Martin’s NASCAR

Mobil 1 Pegasus wing livery being raced by GorillaPanic236, I thought this car was done when I took this shot and then realized I missed one of the top surfaces hiding between two side surface areas and had to fill that in. It sort of looks like glare in this pic but was actually void of color that i had to fill in.

Check my signature link for designs imported from FM5.

very nice. thought i recognized that gamertag. Saw some of those TA races on the forums. fun stuff.

We had some great races in the TA series over there. Kind of funny that the only pics I had of most of those cars were ones I took from the races. The Grand Sport World Tour is currently running on Sunday nights. That will be followed by a modern touring car series (using modified street cars, not the BTCC cars from the game) and another TA series will start early next year. I’m working on a couple of miscellaneous paints right now and then I will be working on Touring Car liveries for the team I’m running with and any others that may need a hand.

Added some designs to the bottom of the OP with some concepts I’ve been working on for a team based touring car league that will be starting in September. Link for the series if anyone is interested is http://www.seasonedgamers.com/forums/index.php?/topic/86419-touring-car-signups/

Red Traxxas livery added to the 2016 CTS-V. Required a good bit of adjustment to look good on the car but turned out great.

After the SeasonedGamers.com Touring Car Draft, the Hyundai Veloster ended up getting the Traxxas treatment in Red/Blue/Green variants.

Early Apex Racing commissioned a paint for the Toyota GT-86 based on an old 2000GT livery. The Early Apex Motorsports logo went through a few iterations as I worked with the team to get it how they wanted it. The final wasn’t my favorite version.

This was also done with the stripes in bright green and a bright blue for the other members of the team.

Final iteration of the SRN Motorsports VW Scirocco, the flag man logo got scrapped in favor of crossed flags.

The Ore Ida Renault got some tweaks for the final race version.

Shared with blue banners for French Fries, purple banners for tater tots, green banners for waffle fries, and brown banners for hash browns.

I’m willing to customize any of these for anyone that might want them. Gamertags, numbers, or just delete the gamertag banner and/or team name logos altogether with a number request.

I’ve also recently put Traxxas on the 94 Miata (red), the GT350R (red and green), and the 2016 CTS-V (red)

All nice work four cam, like your old classics liveries most though.

nice work bud

Some new work on some Formula Mazdas added to the bottom of the OP. The pictures are WIP but the cars are finished and shared.

Added my latest Turn 10 select design from the livery contest to the OP. It is the previously posted in this thread formula Mazda with a couple adjustments.

I noticed today I finally got the badge for 25 5 star paints. Not sure when it popped but excited about that. Surprisingly I still haven’t been credited with 100 hours painting. Is that badge broke?

I’m preparing for another season of seasonedgamers.com historic Trans Am league. Will be updating with designs as I get them done. The first is this Hurst sponsored #3 1970 Camaro

More liveries in preparation for the next season of Seasoned Gamers Historic Trans Am. All are shared.

Crafty Budman will pilot the Holley sponsored 1973 Firebird

TeamReidy will pilot the totally blasphemous Raybestos 1969 Camaro. Raybestos logos modified to be period correct for this so it was a little more complex than just throwing on the Schroeder livery.

Yansansan tentatively scheduled to pilot the Earl’s Boss 302

I will be driving this Comp Cams Javelin

Here is a WIP picture of a 65 Mustang I completed last night but neglected to take a new picture of. Similar to the Week 2 Turn 10 select winning Boss 302 but with period correct Valvoline logos and colors. No driver slated for this car yet. Not biggie if it doesn’t get run by anyone.

All of this livery creation has also resulted in some new shared logos. The Valvoline stemmed from first making what I discovered was the 74-80 Valvoline decal. So then I adjusted that to be the 60-74 Valvoline decal so it was correct for the cars. The old school Raybestos logo with a modified more ornate font from the previously shared modern logo and Brake Linings replacing The Best in Brakes should be shared in addition to the Javelin script on the fender of my car. I have the Javelin script shared in white but it can be changed to any color on request. The Javelin logo is done with all opening in the letters actually open for use on metallic backgrounds.

If you make a #8 version of that Valvoline car, I’d rock the hell out of it. What night are your TA races? or point me to the right thread to ask that.

The races are Sunday nights starting February 26.

Here is a link to the thread for the series.

If you join the forum be patient. They do a good job of weeding out spam but it means having your account being approved to actually make posts can take a couple days. Bit annoying when you sign up but never seeing spam bots post once you are on the forum is definitely not annoying.

I can easily turn the 6’s I put on that car into 8s and share it again. I will update this thread with a complete pic of the car as number 8 after I do it since I don’t have a pic of the completed car here anyway.

I have this shared as number 6 as well. Here is a picture of the 8 as requested

Another season of Grand Sport World Tour will be starting up at seasonedgamers.com as well. An announcement will be coming in a month or so I believe and I’ve been helping put together sample liveries for the cars involved. Many of those have just been updates to previously posted cars but there are some notable new things. I will get pics of some of these up soon. New liveries include:

Audi RS5 with the Valvoline livery from the Boss that won the Week 2 livery contest
Audi TTS with a Claussens Sauerkraut livery, also have this on the M1 Procar
Mercedes Benz SLK 55 AMG with a Red Line Oil livery
Aston Martin V12 Vantage with a Total Quartz livery
Tilton Porsche Cayman (see example of livery in the FM5 link in my sig)
Factory V sponsored CTS-V (see also FM5 link)
BMW M4 with the Flowmaster livery, there’s also a GT350R with this livery (see FM5 link)
GT350R with the Dorsey Schroeder Raybestos livery (see FM5 link) This is also done on the IMSA Cougar in addition to the 2015 Mustang GT and the 95 Cobra that was imported from FM5.

WIP of a car I’m trying to get done before it ever actually hits the track! I’ve got decals here that aren’t even actually on the car yet! It was a late entry and loaded into the trailer without the series decals. This car will be running in the IMSA Continental Tire Series race this week at Daytona driven by Dean Martin, Jack Roush Jr and Cameron Maugeri. Hoping to have it done tonight. The KOHR lettering wasn’t a good enough match for anything in the game so it had to be custom made. I was working off a terrible dark pic last night and I’ve got some new material today to adjust things off of. Still a good bit of work needs done but should have it done prior to the race even if I don’t get it done tonight, there’s a good bit of stuff still to create so having it done tonight is kind of a stretch.

The car I thought was going to be quick and easy continues to take more time than I expected to get right. Like the Kohr lettering, the Forgeline lettering wasn’t a good enough match for me to a game font and had to be made from shapes. The blue parallelogram wasn’t actually a parallelogram so instead of just a skewed square shape it needed to be a square+triangle. The straight lines on the front bumper had to be curved to match the line of the bumper. And so on and so forth. Still have some things to add but progress continues.

As you can see, even when I manage to use game letters I still need to modify things. The R’s are made from P’s and a skewed square.

The Kohr car was a late entry for Daytona, it loaded up with their decals but no series decals Monday and I’ve been working from those pics and guessing where the series decals needed to be. I have everything done now that I knew needed done prior to today. There’s a Racing Radios decal I still need to add after seeing how the car sits. This car also took the pole today!

Kohr car is completed, finishing touches being a racing radios decal behind the front tires, repositioning the VP, the back, and the deletion of Roush from the names. Not sure if they thought there could be three stints and drivers when they left and found out otherwise when they got to Daytona or what.

Car is shared in FM6 and FH3. I’ll update pics here later
