Common questions heard on the forum

Q: What does “C&C” mean?
A: Comments and criticism/critique. Basically an open invitation to your gallery visitors to comment/critique your photos

Q: What settings should I use?
A: There’s really no perfect settings, since forzatography is very dependant on variables like light, location, car etc. You’ll also find that people have their own style and their own preferred settings, so you’ll never get the same answer twice.

Thank you for creating this! I really wanted to see it again, but would never have the time to create it, as showcased when I attempted to do it again in FM7.

If you need any assistance along the line, there are plenty of us who can help you keep it active. Now I best get that how-to thread transferred over.

Hopefully it gets stickied! While a directory is great and has been done in the past, it’s a time consuming process that should really be undertaken by someone who is extremely active here. I just don’t think I’m fit to do that at this particular time. However, you or someone else is more than welcome to undertake that, and I’ll provide a link here

Sorry for what is obviously a very basic question, but can anybody explain how to get my images to show in a post? I’ve been trying to do it using the image tags that show up in the message toolbar, i.e. this I insert the URL from my Forza Gallery page, then put in a description when it asks for it.

However, whenever I preview my post, it doesn’t show any photos, just the text of the image tags. What am I doing wrong?

Great, thanks. I originally thought you could just use the Forza Gallery url in the image tags, which is why it wasn’t working originally. I set up a Flickr account and followed the How-to and managed to post pictures. Thanks again for the steer.

You used to be able to do that but it doesn’t work anymore.

If I may please ask a stupid question. I currently have a Day one and a One S. will i get better photos with the one S? better yet with the X when i get one?

I am asking because i havent been able to make photos anywhere near the quality that i see a lot of people doing.

Honestly it won’t make a massive difference which console you are using to the point where it drastically changes your shot. Sure, the graphical quality will be higher the better console you have, but in my opinion it won’t make or break a shot.

I would suggest creating your own gallery and posting some of your shots. Lot’s of great folks here willing to give tips and advice if you’d like it. :slightly_smiling_face:

hi , since forza horizon 4 includes an xp lv for photos, i was wondering while i was browsing other players gallery uploaded on this website, why i couldn’t rate and click on the 5 stars below each pic to rate it ? it is because there is another way of doing such a basic thing ? cos i see the ratings, i’m on chrome ( mac ) with ad block deactivated on this domain , sorry for the basic question but jhow to like and rate other players photos ?

Hi! I’m sorta new to the Forzatography forums and I have a question. Is it against the guidelines to create appreciation threads? Like a thread for people to share their photos appreciating a certain type of car or something, a place for everyone to post their photos instead of individual threads dedicated to a singular photographer.
